Indeed mowzer, the circus is in town. Plenty new names with apparently long standing, deeply held - all negative - views of the company prospects, despite the monumental potential of the precision platform which is in trial right now. My shares are in my ISA, these twunts aren’t getting them.

I'm extremely confident the IIs knew the test was shot. Both the broker notes had already written it off - they didn't dream up that scenario. It shouldn't have been a surprise to anyone as we'd been told. As for opportunistic fund raises and Waffal's history of doing so - yeah, you can't deny it and it's clearly been successful. The lesson is not to 'top up' at the highs when the hype is pumping. It's fair to say there's certainly no hype for the foreseeable future and there's a large number of PIs that will now be rightly cautious when Waffal changes his tune and goes back in to ramp mode. With plenty cash in the bank and on that basis - a depressed share price and a very depressed shumper wearer - I'd agree with Ripley.

All good stuff - plenty cash in the bank as I posted at the weekend so no surprise there. They're very happy with the data so far and once phase 1a is complete in 'mid summer'*, they'll be have a view on the precision platform as a whole. It's happening, strap in folks!

Prof, I’m not concerned about raising cash at the moment. The burn won’t be at the same level as when developing the LFD, they’ve had some sales, a milestone payment and they had plenty in the bank. Ava continues to progress well and at some point the market will reflect that. Who knows, maybe they’ll sell the odd test when it appears again.

Kong, I’m also a bit surprised that there’s not been at least a short video blog posted, but they’ve been busy serving tea and biscuits (sogginess optional) to IIs this week. Oncology is WaffAl’s passion and that’s where my surprise comes from, but it could reflect a reversion back to pre covid. It’s pretty clear that he’s not a fan of PIs. I can understand it as he mentioned abusive emails, but tarring all and showing disdain would be an immature attitude. I hope he continues to provide some informal, informative but realistic, updates

I wouldn’t get excited by the wording from WaffAl, he loves a ramp. His ink well is still full after all. It’s obvious to say a best in class, one of the best if not the best test should do ok commercially. What is lacking is execution and delivery on the lovely words.

That’s why the AVA6k RNS was much more important and pivotal, they’re delivering on the oncology side. If that continues big pharma will come knocking. Someone the other day said they’ll never get AVA6k to market because big pharma won’t let them. I agree, but only because big pharma will turn up and hoover it up - that’s the exit strategy and why WaffAl has referenced ablynx if the past.

There was an adult conversation taking place, it’s a shame his lordship can’t join in due to his moronic ways. Why anyone on here would be concerned about funding I’ve no idea. It’s a reality. Blancmange feet missed the open goal and 2023 is when they expect to need more cash, that’s the situation as things stand. I’d rather see them at roadshows and putting in some ground work now than end up in the abysmal mess ODX are in, no doubt now desperately going cap in hand - a terrible shame for massive’anker.

I agree RD, WaffAl has dropped some strategic errors, but the time he didn’t drop the ball was getting the funding for AVA6k. We’re funded through to 2023 and I agree with vanilla that whenever they do decide to top up the coffers (and here’s hoping for some LFD sales this decade anyway) that we’d be the last to know unless it’s as leaky as last time. It’s certainly absolutely nothing to do with these roadshows that I’m sure are independent of AVA results and any potential funding, they’re just a chance to send out a reminder of the huge potential given an ongoing trial. If IIs (and RD) decide to take a chunk off the market sooner rather than later then it could prove to be a shrewd move
