Zoom, I expect they've disappeared because they've achieved what they were wanting to. They dipped below 50p to hoover up anyone with a stop and so the fun stops. Slightly annoying as it's bonus month for me, so I wouldn't have complained at a comically cheap 'top up' in a couple of weeks. It's still an absolute bargain so I'll be adding anyway. They've cash in the bank and funded the development of Dx (yet to pay back but set up for future success) and shifted Tx in to the clinic. It's a much stronger, more advanced company. It looked like a hostage situation to me. I’ve contacted the home office. He didn’t look like he wanted to talk to Paul Hill at all, so I’m not sure why they went ahead with it. I’m sure that the roadshows got a much more upbeat version of the seemingly irritated, bored and indifferent version we got. I don’t think he cares about PIs, I’m sure he’s conscious of the paper losses his prized Sequoia Flooring investors are sat on though. I’m sure he’s hoping that the value in Tx starts getting the market recognition it deserves, you’re right to highlight LG Chem alongside Ava.

They've established a good base for a Dx business unit and they'll have learnt an awful lot. This sets them up for future success, whether it's a covid test or the multitude of other testing markets they mentioned in their presentation. He referenced removing CoGs, I suspect that's moving from an AB to an affimer. That will result in a cheaper test that's then easier to manipulate in future for any troublesome variant. I'm not attaching value to it but as you've said, at this stage why wouldn't you change a component, they had a good product previously so we'll wait and see how they get on.

Paul, he had said earlier that he couldn't give a timescale, it'd have been a bit odd if he whipped out a 'soon' or 'shortly' at the end of the interview. There was nothing ambiguous on that front - which made a nice change. There will be a smaller long term market for one of the best, if not the best test in the world and that's the reason for continuing to pursue it. For now, forget it. If / when it turns up, it'll be a lovely surprise.

Hindsight is pretty special too, but we can all see that retrospectively. My shares are still in my ISA. The price is now below my original buy in which is fairly ridiculous so along with everyone other than those here pre pandemic I’m looking at a paper loss. Crazy really. Progress has been made within Dx even if they’ve not got a revenue stream yet, there’s cash in the bank and a trial ongoing so it’s worth leaving my shares where they are. I’ll use some of that hindsight in future to see if that’s a good idea.

Oh wow. The U.K. diagnostics industry is absolutely thriving. Surescreen packaging Chinese crap, several companies in dispute with the govt, Abakta led a merry dance for 6 months and then their quality test ignored and now this - a Chinese manufacturer setting up camp in Scotland. Nice one!

Thanks for the advice Mr Ripley. I'm now destitute. Living the dream! I've just been approached by a company called Mercury who have said they'll pay me in random buttons, belly fluff, coppers and any else they can find in their crusty y-fronts to keep posting as long as I'm continually negative and lying. Does that sound like a good deal?
