The LFD was never the blockbuster we hoped for, so here are the positives from yesterday’s sh.t show bearing mind we’re not that worse off. ABDX completed TT. Just in time to throw it in the bin, but at least they’ll be ready to go again at some point. Others are starting to question the accuracy of LFDs against omicron, definitive evidence might offer a larger advantage for this variant. Delta was around for a while. Omicron could be dominant for some time - BUT could someone insert a sizeable rocket up WaffAl’s backside so we’re not ready just as pi or rho turn up. If WaffAl insists on the perfectionist route he needs to learn to do so at pace.

As noted, plenty other positives in play that are worth much more in the long run. Ignore the scum, have a good day

I think a drop was justified as it's yet another delay, but I expect it was made worse by the usual leveraged AIM positions. I'll bet IG are wetting themselves having recently increased the margin available. My shares are still in my ISA, but I now join the ranks of everyone else underwater. Agreed. In the theoretical perfectionist world he resides, it’s an absolute masterstroke. How very clever of him, he must be feeling pretty smug whilst we’re treading water. By the time we have the perfect test on the market the next mutation will have arrived. Or perhaps the publicity in the Yorkshire Post will get the global attention he hopes for and every govt will be wanting them - then he’ll admit we can currently make a handful and TT to the elusive Far East supplier for our proudly U.K. manufactured test will take another 20 months.

We’re also the ONLY company that seems to care. Seems PresAl the theoretical scientist takes precedent over the commercial CEO. I've given no weight at all. It is what it is. I think Neale Hanvey is going a great job, it's good to see it starting to be picked up by the press but I have zero belief that it'll make any difference at all. Ranting about the past and the injustice of it all is a waste of time and energy. Including LSE in a conspiracy theory is just plain bonkers - LSE is simply a useless website.

I'm relaxed about the LFD with no expectations, I completely agree with sdon, if it contributes then that's fantastic. It's most likely to contribute via other markets which is indeed a disgrace yada yada, but who cares if 'we sell all we make' or 'make all we sell' in the EU rather than UK

sdon, he subsequently revised it to we'll scale supply to match demand which is very different. Even if you believe the former, that's all well and good if you're only making a handful and we've not had a manufacturing update in quite some time. The ABDX TT is due some time in 2027, the mythical far east supplier hasn't made an appearance yet and rumours continue regarding Medusa's capacity - for assembly or otherwise.
