RE: testing..21 Feb 2022 18:57
Well, her maj has it and only has some sniffles. If it remains indistinguishable from a cold for anyone that’s been peppered by needles then people won’t test as they won’t think anything of it. However, it spreads quickly and not everyone is as lucky as Liz. So, when winter rolls around again, out of courtesy to colleagues or due to a desire not to kill off your aging relatives by giving them a respiratory disease alongside a werthers gift pack, testing might be an option. For every day use, the test needs to be the best, if not the best test in the world, it needs to be competitively priced and it needs to be marketed. There’s a chance of those things, you never know. Given the alternative choice of some Chinese tat, I’d pay for the best and others might. I agree on the workplace front though, it’s cheaper for employers to pay for testing than your workforce disappearing in droves. First things first, we’ll need a test.
