Agree totally, CautiousOptimist. I have just read today's report and genuinely find the Therapeutics Division even more exciting than the Diagnostics side of the house. I would seriously advise any prospective investors to view the Lateral Flow Test as a 'bonus given' and take a look at where else Avacta is going with their other work in the coming months / years. It is really exciting and any SP drop here is down to pure games.

Ndn71, be careful what you wish for where PL75 is concerned. Long, long, long ago, in the days when a high S/S LFT was just a glint in the eye of Big Al, there was a man named Klaus who lived in the land of Cytiva. The last time he was seen, he was being led - or rather, dragged - by PL into his basement. Nobody has see him since although screams and 'botty slapping' can sometimes be heard emanating from......I'd better stop there as I know that some of you newbies are a bit sensitive :-0

At £2 - which I don't see happening - you're also assuming that only one bidder would be likely for a unique product, the start of rapid commercialisation and an innovative team. AN is in that enviable 'take it or leave it' position where potential suitors are concerned. That doesn't say 2 quid to me.

Guys, no offence but this is not a national news story by any stretch and there is no press embargo. Somebody mentioned the SNG RNS of last year and I remember it well. It was probably the RNS with one of the biggest "Wow!" factors I have ever read, before or since, coming at a time when Covid symptom remedies were in very short supply and it came at a time when the disease was at it's height, early on. Our best PR route will be to get a sports club, airline or West End personality onside to grab the headlines through highlighting us as a 'way out' for crowd gatherings. But we can only do that once we are in a position to roll off the production lines.

Looking at how the MM's aim is to stay one step ahead of the PIs, This should start edging up as we head towards the end of April and in time for the CE submission RNS, at which point it will spike on the day. It should then climb again fairly quickly because 'new contract' announcements will follow and they usually come out of the blue. Those pesky MM's will want to have built at least some of that into the SP. That's my theory and I'm sticking to it :)

Wyn, my feeling is that it will be contracts that will put a rocket under the SP and that is why I think that guy who left was wrong to do so - at the very start of the commercialisation process?! Revenue is what counts in the eyes of the markets. As somebody said earlier, this was a 'holding' RNS to a large extent although it did reduce much of the risk. I've bought some more and was not going to penny pinch. Games will no doubt be played in the shorter term but it's a quality play ultimately.

..............the really important aspect of this will be how the LFT sales will enable Avacta to fund what many see as the more important and highly exciting longer term projects being undertaken by other areas of the business - the cancer drug delivery trials especially.

BlahBlack, last year in the early stages of this on here we were expecting low to mid 90's on both fronts. These figures are excellent.

PL75, be interesting to see what Deeks has to say if asked to comment. But then again, who cares?!
