My final point in this futile debate in which we cannot and do not know at this early stage which way it will go - either to trial, via settlement or regarding the overall outcome - is that I appreciate the common sense "I don't know" offerings from the vast majority on here. If we did know for "certain" we would surely have put "100%" of everything we own on the SP movement prior to the trial for starters, thus matching our "certainty". To say, "I don't know" is clearly taken personally by some on here through a refusal to give up our own opinion in favour of their's, something that can only be down to a massive ego.

If ever those of you who have drawn the conclusion that Samsung won't settle on the strength what they've unsurprisingly said to date (whether you genuinely believe that or otherwise) fancy a game of Poker, do give me a call. We cannot know either way at this stage. Settlement or Jury, makes no difference to me. I am betting on the strength of the evidence to date with money I am willing to lose - but obviously don't expect to.

............I was stupid enough to take on one of the big four UK banks once and they tried every dirty trick in the book in order to avoid paying me. On the evening of the very last day they were allowed to before the trial becoming a certainty they offered me everything we'd asked for, costs included. I obviously took it but would have been equally willing to allow the court to decide if their views matched my own convictions. We'll never know what the outcome might have been, as with Samsung and their possible "brinkmanship" here. Either way, bring it on as far as I'm concerned.

I think this is an excellent company which will recover in years rather than weeks and in line with the economy. You are effectively betting on the £ in the interim though. No rush with better opportunities for purchase in the coming 2 years, imo.

My thoughts too, beinthelead, in a nutshell.

FWIW, RAH, I do still genuinely believe that there is still an AS credibility hangover after the LFT. I, for one, am still wary after what happened there although I do appreciate how it enabled funding for our main projects. That said, the fact that Neil & Fiona are involved in the presentations for AVA6K (unlike the LFT where it was only AS) AND because this is AS's real area of expertise, I am willing to give him the benefit of the doubt. I know people on here want us to look look to the future and to never mention the history but that, to me, would be naive and unreasonable. I am heavily invested here for those reasons. You have posted several times about the SP being undervalued and I will agree with that but I don't think we will get a real rerate until the cleaving / PK success appears in an RNS, something that would restore the faith of many currently sitting on the sidelines for the reasons I've outlined above.

........that's the $64K question that most of us are looking towards, far less so than safety & tolerability after the latest DE.
