Agree, Kipper9. Happy to address genuine substantiated analysis but spotted this 🤡 early on through such obvious transparency and random deramping quotes just plucked out of the air. Who to believe? Part of the appeal of Capita for me is that I expect beneficial news to roll out fairly frequently under the new CEO and his Execs as they come across as highly motivated and excited by the new strategy and tech partnerships. The latest deal was a case in point. It is for this reason I have chosen to be a LTH as I see potential for shorters to get well and truly burnt under the new regime drive forward. We'll see. DYOR

Troy Hunt, a cyber security researcher, said in a post on X that “something super weird happening right now” with individuals around the world complaining their Windows computers were suddenly showing the “blue screen of death” and entering recovery mode.

Cyber security engineers pointed to a problem with Crowdstrike, a piece of antivirus software, which appeared to be causing computers to crash.

Senad Arun, founder of cyber research company Imperum, described the incident as “Crowdstrike Doom’s Day”.

In a post on its website, Crowdstrike said: “Crowdstrike is aware of reports of crashes on Windows related to the Falcon Sensor.”

Interesting how you feel compelled to spend time here commenting on / revisiting a share which you are so keen to avoid through the reasons you've outlined ;-) Good luck with BT though.

Ordinarily I would spend a lot of my time staring at the screen, monitoring every comment and miniscule movement of an SP. The fact that I am not doing that here reflects my confidence in the Execs, Capita's foundations, future strategy, the longer term investment potential AND the current value of the SP. A need to continually stare at the screen can tell you an awful lot about your own levels of confidence in an investment. Pick a good one and the daily screen, rampers and derampers become totally irrelevant.

In Q1 last year Group revenue was up 21% whereas this latest Q1 saw a 5% increase.

I prefer think of it as a streamlining disposal of a non-core asset, a worthwhile exercise according to the interim SP direction.
