I recently wrote to the Investors' Chronicle Editor after she penned a piece pointing to the number of companies leaving AIM. She suggested it's down to a lack of funding and recognition for decent companies via their unreasonable SP's. I suggested an article looking once and for all at the integrity (or not) of AIM in view of the allegations such as yours which we see all too often on these BBs. Is it down to the MMs at play or ignorance amongst investors who don't understand how AIM works? Either way, some of what goes on can only be detrimental to those companies within AIM. We cannot tar all MMs but I suspect NoFear's Barclay's "shadow platform" report which you might have seen on here yesterday provides part of the answer. The little guys (PIs) are certainly up against it.

As for my suggestion to the IC's Editor, I'm still waiting for the courtesy of a reply.

AIM?

Schlemiel, the only thing I would counter your point with is how Capita are looking to do exactly what Labour are looking for - saving government departments money through technological efficiencies. Yes, things like outsourced catering, Track and Trace type contracts and cleaning will undoubtedly disappear but they will not affect Capita. Purchasing is another area - where the likes of the NHS is being ripped off by some suppliers - but again, our role would only be the automated issuance of orders invoices (as I understand it) and we will enable them to keep up to the minute tabs on their expenditure to a far greater degree, and quickly.

I'd be surprised if it doesn't, AimMaster, but - as you might have gathered - I've every confidence in this team beyond tthis week's movements and will be holding accordingly. Bring it on!!

The other thing I'd add that perhaps hasn't been recognised on here previously and, imo should be is Xenia Walters,

Chief Strategy and Transformation Officer. I've seen her type before; works extremely hard, is very loyal to her employer and is outstanding by way of her contributions to the team / company. I suspect her current work will be worth a few extra bob on the SP in the medium term. Great move by AH to reunite with her as I suspect she's contributed substantially to his previous successes elsewhere.

Just been watching the Capital Markets day webcast again and got to say, whatever the SP does by way of a continuing retrace after the recent rise, AH's attention to detail - along with that of his team - looks phenomenal, judging by their forensic analysis of all aspects of Capita and what's required for relatively rapid turnaround, a process that's already being actioned. I've seen my fair share of BS CEO's and guys like this don't come around too often. It's him and his team that I'm backing rather than any interim SP movements / games.

Unhooked, I wouldn't argue with that although those staff are obviously still going to be needed and those costs would 'understandably' have to be passed on.

One obvious question which is not included under the FAQs section on Dialight's litigation web page?

Has Dialight truly tested the strength of it's case to date through approaching a no-win no-fee litigation firm?

Unless it's "Barbra" Streisand? :-)
