Alternatively, as you are so convinced it will drop, why not just wait to buy-in at the 40p or whatever other price it is that your posts are targeting and STFU in the interim? Hmm?

Yes, a "gamble", but only in the short term at worst, imo.

Whilst not as savvy as others on here, one thing I have learnt through my experience of the markets to date is how SP's ordinarily only rise to a substantive level once incoming monies from any deals have been fully deposited into the recipient's bank account. Unexpected future deals aside, it is for this reason I only expect our SP to rise further in late August (or beyond), once the £200m from the Capita One deal is in our account and deemed fully completed.

Final bit from me this morning as I'm beginning to bore myself! Wrote to Helen and Stephanie in Investor Relations earlier re. the Reach suggestion and received a reply within 15 minutes. Okay, so they might have told me to stop bothering them but the response was quick!

I'm not expecting any great revelations on Friday and feel that we may then drift a bit but I really don't have a problem with that. As long as we progress the turnaround through this coming year in an upwardly meaningful fashion to consolidate the recent advances. I have every confidence that we'll be looking at a very different picture this time next year. That's the outline we were given recently, so let's not set ourselves up for disappointment if that is just reiterated on Friday.

MT may well be "correct" (as in, it could drop further) but I view such moves as opportunities if so, rather like the MM's might in the interim through dropping it. Like I say though, the need for energy security will dictate policy and the need for this to come good in the longer term, imo.

"rainbow unicorns" ain't required. Having looked at both sides, I am confident that the need to maintain the UK's energy security will trump the naysayers predictions of doom!
