1. Labour have an issue with consultants rather than outsourcing.

2. I heard a senior Labour politician (elderly female) on TV at the weekend talking about their need to embrace new technology in or to improve people's lives and govt efficiency.

We, or rather AH and his team, are in exactly the right time and place. No worries whatsoever.

In view of the appetite on here for SP forecasting, I have looked very closely at my own charts which show the end of a Burmese Cross transcending a galloping but docile hedgehog. That tells me that today's SP could either move up, down or end up back where it started. Fingers crossed.

Whilst not as knowledgeable as some on here I would respectfully suggest that it's not only about the numbers, important as they are, it is about the people at the head of Capita. The main thing that draws me to this share is the enthusiasm, attention to detail, technical-nous and ability of the new CEO (and his team) to see the problems for what they are and, more importantly, cut through them fast and efficiently. They've watched, listened and are now doing what needs to be done. That team is what will drive this share.

4th / 5th August likely for Half Year results.

Does anyone know if AH was headhunted for this company? I only as because of their govt work. I'm probably talking bollx but I can imagine how the sensitive nature of some of the contracts would have merited a nod and a wink from someone in the corridors of power who was looking for someone sharp to pick up the pieces and get it back on track.

And US buys?

My feeling is, not to such an extent that this sale and that merits a very large and sustained hike in today's SP. They'll do okay but a slow process, imo.

I think it's probably that event which fired up Rockwood's interest. The current CEO strikes me as highly knowledgeable, sincere, very personable and impressive. He very clearly spent his initial months watching and listening across the company before deciding upon his strategy for restoring Capita to where it should be. Furthermore, I will be extremely surprised if he doesn't achieve his aims. As has been previously stated in the Vox video, we are likely to be looking at a Capita which is very different to what we now have, two years down the line. Gut feeling as much as anything but this CEO strikes me as being exactly the right person at the right time for Capita, largely through the current state of 'technology advancement' (AI etc), the ground upon which much of this turnaround's success will be based upon. Just my opinion - but a very strong one though.

People selling, having expected bid news?

Looking at Friday's events and the campaigners seeking to raise retail shopfloor wages, any thoughts on UK businesses paying annual bonuses based upon sales, as they do in other parts of the world? I do feel the ongoing improvement here has obviously been made possible through the contribution of our staff and I would prefer incentivisation rather than just chucking money around, as seems to be the way nowadays.

Trisor, I see where you're coming from and agree but I think we would still be stuck with the issue that AimMaster2018 highlights, "Company needs new revenue".

I read it as an opportunity to further "expand" beyond the contract.
