Surely (I know, don't call you "Surely"), if the technology was that good then we wouldn't just be relying on 'conference networking' for deals? I'm hoping for successful news well before any such deal which would take many months once the lawyers got involved.

Chairman at De La Rue commented, "Since my appointment a year ago, the Board has considered a broad range of possible strategic alternatives including transactions with multiple parties which may involve a combination with, or the sale of, the Group's divisions. The Board confirms that the discussions with the relevant parties are advancing, and we expect to update further at the time of the full year results in July."

I do feel the turnaround will come when what have been very small margins are seen to be improving significantly, although, in fairness, they did say "Operating margin was impacted by the pre-opening costs and disruption arising from the renewal programme at a number of major sites during the first half."

They also recognised this themselves:

AGL's recently approved Parsortix device was developed precisely to "track progress of the treatment / disease." It's far more user friendly than traditional histology. For the record, I've been invested here and there at various times.

No, not every FDA submission does strike first time but compared with others this company just feels shabby on the leadership front and that was unsurprisingly (to me at least) reflected in the FDA application. I could genuinely see the highly risk of a need for a resubmission. Still, I will not be investing and so we'll have to agree to disagree.

Spot-on, Pyueck. This lot showed their true capabilities when the initial FDA submission fell short.
