Nothing wrong with posters being confident,but if you think about it,is it that simple ?.If it was,we'd all be Millionaires out of the game.If it shoots up from here we could say that it was obviously going to happen.But is it that easy ?.
Markets rise when there tends to be an atmosphere of doom,where all hope has deserted.Not always,but you get what i mean.
So best not be too over confident,but be more aware that markets tend to surprise or disappoint in equal amounts.
Don't deter from what you intend to do,but stay grounded at all times,and don't get emotional about investment decisions.
Cold calculating discipline is needed at all times,and always keep looking at the "what if" scenario,so you know what to do BEFORE things happen.

Any particular reason that it will be Monday ?.Maybe we are on the same page.If so a guarded reply would suffice.

needs to hold 163 and move up,pity i'm a bit behind with my calcs,would have apppeared impressive.Not hard to see a rally at
163.Any weakness and falls through it would show weakness,and therefore not a good sign.For instance you would not want to see it go through 158 (very unlikely at this particular stage ).

170p is the resistance.To remain bullish,it needs to push up through and stay above 170.Having not long got up i did the TA and came up with resistance at 170.1.i then looked at today's intraday moves.I got it wrong,it hit 170.02.
,now lower,It even surprised me !!!!!.
I'll stick with what i have,tried and tested method,while of course looking at and respecting other posters points of view.
I'll just add that from my own PERSONAL research results.it looks as if it maybe just a little bit too early to celebrate,just yet.

Some posters are praising those who got out in April,yet a Bull like me who is not yet invested looking to buy at 150 is criticised.
Cane Toad says he is 5.5% underwater with Boo and says he wants shorters to push it lower so he can top up and get a lower average.
Any criticism coming his way ?.You can't have it both ways !!!.All a bit illogical.

With respect,as you say, i said "i would SEE who got it right,"i didn't say i would COPY them.More like i could well use them for confirmation of what i had myself.
If you had a group of posters who had a high success rate of predicting correctly,confirmation would be very helpful.
If you could amass from the net,every investor on the planet who had a proven track record (logically extremely difficult ),it would be logical as to how useful it would be.We see anyway,firms trying to surround themselves with the smartest around and thus making money.
That is why i try and hook up with posters on here who appear to be insightful, (whether they,including myself get it right remains to be seen).So that's what i hope to achieve.I don't really understand all the confusion,e.g.,i never thought or said that i thought that Centrica was at any time now or in the past, a good company to invest in.I just used it in a context as an example.
Still, let's hope for a good outcome for all regarding the s.p. ,now or in the future.

One last post as you are one of the few that can discuss respectfully.I was watching on the day of the spike down close at 157,and although it's listed as 133p low intraday,i actually saw it hit 128.Also at a higher level the next significant low listed at 210 was actually 186 intra day (saw it ).
I'm sure you probably know this,but i thought i'd mention it anyway,just in case.

Can't tell everybody on here how amazed and disappointed i am,as to some of the replies on here.It gets in the way of my research anyway.I'll just observe and see who gets it right.Never thought that a discussion could get so bizarre.

Not being a total whizz at TA myself,it's difficult to see where the top was,regarding as to where to start from,415,390 or 373.
So i am very interested to know what your next buy point would be,if it didn't eventually hold the 150 support level.
Your answer would be very helpful to me,and could speak volumes as to finding the main bottom.(Once again assuming it goes lower ).Thanking you in advance.

With respect,if you could read my posts again.As you say quite rightly both entirely different companies.I was only comparing both their posters comments at the time when they both topped out ,373/402.
There were Bullish posts on both sites,big majority of them at the time.I posed the question as to how so many could get it wrong (see last post).
I must say that maybe i didn't explain myself properly in my original post.I'm quite certain that 150/153 will see a good rise as that is the next support.If unusually it goes straight through (can't see it myself),that would be alarming enough to set alarm bells going.
Whether it is the very last bottom is i would say 50/50 .Wouldn't at least be surprised if it took off as SCB intimates.The future is as i have always said is online.Wait till global warming really gets going and we get storm names every two days and the wind is howling and shoppers get soaked through,and road and rail is down.
Not difficult to see what shoppers will vote to do.They won't vote with their feet to go shopping,they'll vote in their slippers !!!.Good Luck.

I was not saying that the Companies themselves were the same.I am saying that they were VIEWED by posters as being the same, as 80% plus of posters on both sites when they were both at the top,said they were both going to go up.Certainly NOT a few posters
You ae talking about the companies,I am talking about POSTERS opinions.

I am merely comparing the fact that posters on both sites,Boo/Centrica,gave the same sound reasons for buying the shares,and asked for any explanation as to why posters disagree so much.
It would be unusual in a case in court where all evidence given resulted in a unanimous Guilty verdict,and then retried straight afterwards with a different jury and they return a unanimous verdict of not guilty.
But as i say,that is what appears to be the situation that we have.All intelligent posters examining the evidence and facts ,yet coming up with opinions that are extreme opposites.So i posed the question why ?.
That,and the fact that on here there seem to be more Bulls than Bears,and yet on the advfn site they are almost maniacally Bears !!!.None of us are in competion with each other,we are after the same thing.Forums and the Internet,instead of being a pathway to the truth and therefore a help to everybody,seems to end up being a zoo,and therefore no help to anybody.

Well lots of posters on Centrica site were likening the potential of the Share to Boohoo,as regards to making money.
But that is what they were saying THEN,and all the way down .Same as Boohoo since 415/373,posters all saying the same as to them being a good share to invest in.For myself i am not comparing them NOW ,but to what was happening THEN.
If it was so obvious at 402 that Centrica was a bad share,then i trust you shorted them then and made a lot of money.

Posters are referring to them,but What time frames are they using.Fibonnaci,some thing else, ?.Or linking it just to future trading updates etc.Indulge me.

i have posted ONE prediction.150/153.I have always said as far back as 2017 that the future was online.With me it has always been a question of when to buy.Maybe somebody should have told all the Bulls on Centrica postings who raved at Centrica's fundamental strengths all the way down from 402p,that they were talking rubbish.
Personally i cannot see how Investors fundamental analysis can amount to such extremes as to be poles apart.So just exactly what is going on ?.

As Geos was very confident,i did a less severe and more confident average down for him. As he got on at 162,i did a -33% ratio for him.150 to 153 seems a good time to trade.A good rally at least.

Deos,1.62 ,next lot 108 then 72 (if it gets there )SAME amount each time.This gets rid of the emotional side of things.Normally,halve every time ,e.g. 200 100 50 25.Look at Centrica .150,75, 37.5, average 87.5,now stands at circa 60,not far from the average.Not bad seeming that the fall from the top 402 to 30p was 92%.A horror story,but with proper averaging,if it gets to 88 a totally nightmare disaster is avoided.
Make sure that you always have enough liquid funds,so that you don't run out of money to buy and average if any share you buy tanks.
Never say that a share can't tank.They said that about Centrica,and even the great Rolls Royce in the sixties.Proper averaging
