Can i ask how you arrive at your buy price of 87p ?.

A sharp drop that Boo has experienced since 373p has historically been followed by a longish period of a sideways move on the chart.The opposite is also true,a long sideways move is followed by a sharp move in one direction.
I expect it to go sideways in a narrow range for a while.We've already been back up and tested circa 122p already.So probably not a lot of fireworks.

Positive thinking on here is not going to move the price !!!!,City boys are not basing their decisions by avidly following what we say on here.Good luck with your investment,but for God sake get real !!!.

iI have in excess of 65 pointers that lead me to believe that 97p was the bottom.Not all confirm it.The rise from 97p has a lot of faults with it.It keeps running out of steam.It goes up then starts to do a bit of sideways movement and then drops,shoots up and then collapses down.A bit like sweeping mud uphill.
Still,Nothing is 100% guaranteed,so in believing that,Boo needs to break out of it's pattern on the chart.A poster said that the fall on Friday is a mirror image to Thursdays rise if you turn one upside down.Correct,and it seems like a concerted move to hoodwink investors.Whether they are trying to get investors to sell or buy is up for debate.But for now i'll just sit and observe all what's going on,or APPEARS to be going on.

A lot of talk on here on this subject.Basically the problem is that it gives you a false sense of security.People buy and say that it doesn't matter if it falls i'll average down.You should be fearful of every purchase.Some on here said that they ran out of money !!!!,calcs should be done to allow for this anyway.Some on here talk about Martingale !!!.Good grief !!!!.
One poster said that he had averaged down at 190 180 and was ready to go in again at 170.The buys should be something like 200 150 100 75 50 all worked out beforehand.
Can posters give their reasons as to why since the Pandemic low in March 2020,Boo was 157 (128 intra low )and is now 108,yet the price of Asos is now double the price from it's March 2020 low ?.

Hi, i have been busy,so delay in getting back to you.I consider myself to only having a small knowledge of the Elliott wave.
It is very difficult with extensions,AB bases,running correstions et al,to contend with,and with small movements such as the move up from 97p.
I was trying to get bullish 5 wave pattern up to 128p,to equal wave one,which i could see as a possibility.Then i could see a correction,then hopefully a move up for wave 3.Trouble is wave 3 has appeared to have broken down ,as far as i can see.
If you take the closing price at 122p and not the intra day 128p in looking at wave one,you end up instead, with a corrective wave.It looks now as if it's doing a classic 3 wave correction,A B C.
This would tie in with the assumption that 97p was the bottom of wave 3 only.The collapse through 150 was probably a series of extensions,so fast that it was difficult to analyse.
As i see it the fall to the covid low in March '20,was wave A,the rise to 415 was a B wave,and the fall from 373 is a C wave.
This of course this gives a poor outlook for Boo.I fear that a Share as volatile as Boo (this is the Aim market of course ],is a dangerous share to get involved in,plenty of profit,but you need nerves of steel.
At the moment i prefer to sit back and wait for things to confirm themselves .This happens a lot with the Elliott wave,best to let it be, and sit it out for a while.
I would be very interested in your take on things,as nobody however clever they think they are, can ignore other posters point of view ,or analysis,especially myself.

Very interested in your analysis.You say it's a "B" wave .Could you walk me through your analysis of the move from 97p,and also tell me where we are in the bigger scale of things.We are between 3 and 4 yes ?,from the "C" Wave that started at 373.3 p ?.

Although it's nice to see the rise this morning,a lot of posters are celebrating.If making money was that easy,everybody would be Millionaires.It's not that simple.Nice to see the rise, but let's be calm,less emotional,and more disciplined in our approach to things.That leads to clear thinking,which is what is needed to navigate as to where we are going.Cautious optimism is the order alway's.

Funny how the chart mini collapse late this afternoon is a completely identical to the selling pressure seen in the past.
I mean identical.It looks like an concerted sell off,not one off investors selling,but somebody with clout.
Are we sure that shorters haven't increased ?.Looks almost as if certain people are VERY certain of what is going to happen.
Almost unbelievably certain that they know ??!!!!!.

What a great quote from Buffet.Who is the guy on CNBC who says "I drink one cup of coffee in the morning,it costs me 13 cents,and i invest the rest",makes his own and pockets the difference if he bought at Starbucks et al.
Any young guy who is poor can easily not buy a newspaper,Coffee (i make better coffee myself !!),buy a car for practical reasons.rather than buy a car with bells and whistles on for 2k more,etc.Save and then wait till they spot a opening ,Property ?/investment etc,and then pounce.
Not all people can,but there is a lot of disposable income that most people have,compared to say the 40's 50's where most people had zero left at the end of the week after they had bought the bare essentials.
So i just love these little gems that smart people come up with,and great if it gets young people out of the mire, and helps them to get on in life.
In 1970 a guy told me that getting the first £20k is the hardest, (lot more now obviously )then if you are smart,"money goes to money".I listened ,he sounded smart,checked out what he said, and bought my first property.This was after the 1973 market crash,and the 1980 gold price fall,a disaster for me.I took solace in the fact that Henry Ford went bust twice before it came good for him.Since then ,blue skies.
The old saying "if at first you don't succeed,try try again".Personally, it felt i more like ,"If at first you don't succeed,try, try, try ,try, try,...................!!!".
Things can be achieved even from humble beginnings

It's now bounced off this mark five times today !!!!!.Let's hope it stays above this today,and get a positive response tomorrow,or soon.As i said earlier,looking at the minutiae of movements, i can see that the battle between the Bulls and the Bears is around this mark.

The S.P. really needs to get moving,otherwise it is in danger of curling over on the chart,(running out of momentum).Considering tomorrow could well be a crucial day, the punch -up going on between the Bulls and the Bears at this very moment could be decisive as to the direction for the future.
Shorters are trying to do the P.M. push down that has been talked about on this site in the past.The Bulls are trying to push it higher so the shape of the chart stays Bullish.Very Important few days ahead !!!!!.

Well yes,only a fool would sell at the moment.The bottom at 108,looks like the extent of the correction ,that is the correction to the rise from 97p to 128p.
Since 108,the chart pattern looks very positive,you can see that all the moves comply with what you should be seeing if you were a Bull.So steady as she goes is what is needed.Anybody would be foolish at the moment to sell. Lets see how it reacts tomorrow.
A careful eye needs to be kept on Boo,as the start of any Bull market needs very careful monitoring in the early stages.But as i say looking good so far.Let's hope it stays that way.

Just thought i'd remind posters of what Debra Meaden said on Dragon's Den over 3 years ago.She was grilling a guest,and if i remember correctly it was all to do with selling on the High Street.To emphasise a point,she paused,took a deep breath and announced "the High Street is Dead ",and indicated with a throw away line that it wasn't coming back.
She of course, could have risked the wrath of those in business community who had a vested interest in people not making statements like that.So i reckon her statement spoke volumes.It's what smart people have been thinking for years anyway,but her statement dispelled all the hopeful "chatter" that some put forward,such as "the return of the High Street ".
It's going,and it ain't coming back !!!.So logically it's good for Boo.

Thank you for your input,much appreciated.You could well be correct in your analysis.I am looking forward in the months ahead to reading any more analysis that you post.Boo is a difficult share to analyse because of the volatility,just to point out that the pandemic low in March '20 was 128,even tho a close of 157,and the closing low of 210,had a intra day low of 186.
I was looking on both occasions and noted them.
It makes quite a lot of difference to certain calcs,just thought i'd mention it anyway.Good Luck and keep posting.

Many thanks for your reply.It could be argued that the low of 97p was merely the end of the 3rd wave down from 373,and the rally since is only a Bear market rally.Any negative reaction on Thursday to Asos results if they are bad ,would be catastrophic if Boo were to go below 97p.
Surely tho, one can argue that all the bad news is already discounted in the S.P.Any rise on Thursday would still need to be watched very carefully.Time-wise, Thursday would an ideal opportunity for Boo to reaffirm that it was in a Bull market Chart-wise.As i am writing this, there is confusion as to whether shorts have increased,today even.it needs to be confirmed or denied.Frustrating that in an era of a multitude of news sources,that things can appear unclear (worse than the Governments lack of clarity !!!!)
As one pundit put it the other day,"it's 50/50 as to which way Boo goes.I myself am hopefully optimistic,(basically for those on here that are underwater ),but worry as to some things that i see.Time will tell.Good luck to all on here,fingers crossed.
