Patience,It's going sideways,probably a lot longer than people think.If we believe the maxim that "there is no such thing as a quick buck ",perhaps the opposite is the way to go,as you guys out there have said many times.The SLOW buck,wins the day .?!!!!.

Of course it's not foolproof !!!!!!,if it was everybody would be millionaires.It's an opinion.You say that the the analysis i mentioned is for day traders.I am not a day trader.I am only looking at the small moves,checking to see if everything is on track, or taking a sidetrack,that needs to be looked at and analysed.
Everybody see different things in charts,you say,It was very heartening for me to read one post on here where a poster came up with some support levels that were EXACTLY the same as i had already come up with,i mean exactly, meaning to the virtual exact number of pence.
I don't know this person and not believing in thought transference ,i thus put it to you and others on here that there is substance to my "analysis",et al.
Look no need to butt heads like some "GEEZERS" down the local.Lets be adults.You may well with your Bullish opinion based on fundamentals end up being correct.I for one will take solace in the fact that all those underwater will get out of trouble.We are not wearing football scarves of a different colour,we are not enemies,we are supposed to be airing our views as we see things,and are being honest.It would be a bit weird if a forum was for Bulls or Bears only .

pf-78,i have always considered myself to be an amateur at this game,although when i read some of the posts on forums i do wonder !!!!!,i mean i do wonder !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.
I only use the HL site and analyse from there.I do my own research,that is outside T.A.as well,which is where you find out stuff that seems not to be in general circulation.
I lived through the '73 crash and learned lessons.I used to frequent Bassinghall (spelling ?) Street business library in the city the early eighties,where i could read point and figure charts,and old, now probably out of print American chart books.
I had 250 on the Gold chart as a bottom in 1980 (bottomed years later in a classic Elliott wave correction ),but was involved in property at the time and passed it over,(considered buying BHP at £1,declined,ouch !!!!).When i went back to it all in 2015,on a cursory look basis only, I passed on Betfair shares at £7.50,when i could find very few "experts "talking about it or even recommending it.
After it was bought out at £38 ,i thought "hold on ,am i an expert ?,just who are the experts" ?.So here i am on here.Not that i consider myself an expert ,but some on here seem to have an opinion based on some other opinion,rather than opinion based on fact.

Bzohdan,In answer to your question.I would wait until it went through 128p,if it went through it quickly,i would hope to get on in the pullback.It would depend also on the "shape "of the chart.Better to get on a bit late on a confirmation,rather than risking a collapse through 97p,and then seeing it go a lot lower,to the next support level.
Support levels or actual bottoms (the important ones ),tend not to be just below the last one (90p for instance is only roughly 7% lower than 97p).They tend to be a lot lower !!!!.
So holders can hold if they want,but for them it must be very stressful for them.I wouldn't tell them to sell at the moment,but they will have to be fleet of foot,and watch the S.P. like a hawk !!!!!!!!!!!!.
So it's all a question of turning it into a percentage call.This is mine,and how i see it.GLA.
One more thing .If i was a holder and Boo went down,i would look at the posters who got it right and hope to find out when they turned bullish,so i could buy and improve my average.
So this site is all about a learning process.Learning who's smart,and taking their views on board and use them for confirmation of your own views.Simple really.

I posted before that it could go up to circa 120p.That is allowable on the chart.It is what happens after that which is important.
A shoot through 128p would be very positive for the Bulls,and they are still in the game,JUST !!!.Very important for them what happens here from 106p.
It can bounce around 106/ 100p thus extending the sideways move,but at some point it needs to get above 128p for the Bulls to breathe a bit.
Any break below 96.86p 'ish for a few days would be very negative for Boo holders.So there,a summary of what i think using my analysis.If you look closely Bulls /Bears can't moan as it's an unbiased troll free analysis.
Feel free to disagree,and i will read avidly (that's why i'm here,to learn from others ),but let's all be adults about all this,as surely,we ALL on here are on here to make money.

Good morning,i have just caught up with all this mornings posts.I was going to say something ,but No Fear's reply to Reardon has said it all for me.
To go long at this very moment with the potential of the Ukraine situation getting even a little bit out of hand,and therefore spooking the markets,bulls could very well find themselves in trouble.
As No Fear says ,best to stand back and wait for things to settle down.Any opposing argument against this view must surely come under the banner of "gambling",pure and simple.Posters can still feel free to gamble it's up to them.
The thing is doing things that way,could well end up in the end, involving decisions based on emotional responses.Which is something we should all defintely aim to steer clear of .

Ezzy,just to say that i was just looking at the charts of those that i mentioned,and looking for equations common to all of them.
I found some interesting things that i hope to transfer to Boo.I just analyse charts.
Your comments about bearish sentiment,i agree with.As well as the fact that time is running out as regards it hitting bottom.
As you say,weeks or months ( i'd say months ) away,from a reversal.
The Bulls still have an outside chance of being right.,a double bottom,some sudden news ( Bid unlikely ?),not sure what else could do it !!.But it is really only grasping at straws.
Hard to make a case for Boo,especially with the shorters seemingly uncannily confident that they know what is going on.
They have been so right,so far.

Ezzy,i take your point on board .There will be the PERCEIVED assumption that round numbers do have an affect on markets,but is it a short term thing ?,is it where the bottom is ?.
I was looking at Nat West,Dunelm,BT, Braemar, RMG and a few others this morning,All had bottomed at an odd number,some under a £1.
484p ,92p ,96p,124p,bottoms are not near whole numbers.There will be support (psychological ) at round numbers, but for real bottoms ?.it's open to debate.But as i say i do take your point,but i believe it to be only a short term thing before other factors kick in .

100p is not a psycological support .Loads of shares bottomed at 95p,92p,loads went lower.I understand posters putting up broker recomendations,BUT do your own research,otherwise you only end up analysing SOMEBODY ELSE'S RESEARCH.Which means that you are relying on somebody else's opinion.There is a difference in listening to WHAT people are saying ,and listening AT what people are saying.
Why are shorters shorting now ?.Good question ?.I have posted before that shorters seem to KNOW what's going on.They have been right with Boo so far !!!.Best tactic is to wait and let it play out.Better to buy 10% higher that the bottom rather than buy now.The big bounce came at 97p,as that was the last bottom (with a 25% rise ),percentage -wise if it closes below 97p,the next low probably won't be at 90p.That's a percentage call.if it's wrong you can always decide whether to get on some 10% higher.Which is where it is now .
Buying shares and making a profit is extremely difficult,as if it was that simple,even the feeble minded would make money.
(don't counter with Donald Trump,he was just extremely lucky ).

Bounce off 99p say posters ,but is it a trap ?.Is it the start of a "C " wave,which is following a "B"wave that has just finished ?.
It may go up to 120p range,but is that as far as it will go ?.Answer,most likely.I feel sorry for those underwater,and worry about them.But there again stranger things have happened.Any chance of a bid ?.Things like that can negate a chart pattern.
So you Bulls out there,you'd better cross your fingers and hope for something out of left field,as i for the life of me can offer little help.

I put in a post yesterday,saying that sideways moves can have sudden dips and sudden rises.I said that corrections can go on sideways for a lot longer than people think they will.It looks on the chart as if it's been (since 97p )a corrective move.It's gone down quite sharply since 121 to where it is now,and there is no reason why it cannot go back up to 120p,possibly quite quickly.What happens afterwards if it does happen,will be open for debate in the future.

Even though i put forward a balanced view,weighing up the Bull viewpoint and the Bear viewpoint,you wish me filtered.

A bit like sweeping mud uphill,as i have said before.The S.P. is incredibly weak.Are there really posters on here that are paid ?.
Not much point as they can't move a shares S.P..Somebody posted that the Footsie and everything is set for crash.It is,but not yet !!!.I did a lot of research on the footsie,a bit difficult as it changed from the F.T.30 to the Footsie in the eighties.I did the Math and calculated a running figure on the Footsie so that i will be ready for the fall.
How can i be confident that my calcs are correct ?.Well the Footsie spiked up in 1987 and touched the figure that i had.It then collapsed,a big market correction.It has since recovered.But i do consider it to be a good early warning system as to what is very much likely to happen,percentage-wise as regards the Footsie.I thought that i had it wrong when covid struck and the market dived,but as we know it recovered.
The big question is to when the Bubbles (property,stock market ] will burst,or correct a bit.It is not in the immediate future,but we can see that interest rates,Mortgage rates ?,are under pressure as Inflation goes up.That is a big concern for the future.
As for Boo,God sake it is weak !!!.I can't see how anybody can be confident about anything about it.I know the old saying that it's always darkest before the Dawn,but this is getting ridiculous !!!.A close below the previous low,ok let's say 97p intra-day (why is 97p not recorded as the low of the day ?),then it would be very bad.There is a thing on Charts called an A B base.They short the S.P. at 97p driving it lower,holders see a triggered sell, and sell, and the smart guys buy into the selling pressure.It's a a trick to get weak holders to sell.Best to be aware of this.It's debateable whether this trick will be activated now.It doesn't always happen,but if they do this trick, it will only happen at the real bottom.
So things are very tricky,but there again if it was that simple,(making money) everybody would be Millionaires.
I sit and wait,all shares even bad ones are tradeable at the right price,which is where the real bottom is.Best to observe at the moment and see what the next direction is.

Ok ezzy,point taken.But as you know things can take longer to happen.I'm not saying that what you say won't happen,but that sometimes it takes a while longer for it to happen.
If Boo dives under 97p tomorrow or next week,the price will dive more,and what you say will come true.

The chart dictates that we could move sideways for a while longer,and could easily make a sharp rise back up to 120p /128.
But then it gets tricky.It would need to break up and out quite sharply to negate things.
So a watching brief is the thing to do at the moment.Any dive under 97p soon , would be disastrous at the moment,not saying it will,and i don't think it could happen anytime soon.Good luck to all.
P.S. should we not conclude that basically the AIM market is a far too volatile a market to dabble in ?.Big profits yes,but very quick sell offs,sometimes so quick as to catch EVERYONE off guard ?.

I read your post with interest,but how do you get to 87p ?.Is it a math calculation arrived at via a Fundamental review of the balance sheet etc,or is it something else ?I would be very interested to know,so that i can see if it matches my calculations from a different method.We may be of help to each other.I have always been a believer of clever minds merging,just as big business does.
The more the merrier.The bigger the computer (brainpower),the cleverer we will be.It worked for Turing and Colossus.
