Very Very good post.Your knowledge of charts far and above exceeds my understanding of the basics of Elliott wave and other TA.Pity i couldn't tap your knowledge ?.Well here goes anyway.Do you think that Ballard bottomed at 16 recently ?.

Pedro,please keep on posting.You have got it right so far.Anybody with any knowledge of charts would rate BOO at the mo,as dodgy.
A person does not have to be a holder of Boo shares to post here.Posters like Pedro,as long as he gets the bottom correct,should be used by holders to buy and try and average out.I was criticised off the site for saying that i liked Boo but wanted to buy at 135 when it was circa 180 (back when it fell from 266 to 140,a few years back ).I wasn't far out then,and if i buy again it will be with help from Pedro methinks.
When shares go down it rides a wall of hope that it is going to go up.When they go up,it rides a wall of worry that it is not going to go down.Listen to everyone Bulls and Bears,and if they gives solid reasons for their take on a share,use them to make a final decision as to buy or sell,in conjunction with your own thoughts of course.

We've had the correction,now what happens ?.I haven't been happy so far with the sudden upmove and then curling over.
Looks more like Bear covering than a positive start of continuation of a Bull move.
But hey ho,i hope i'm wrong.Any help out there regarding T. A.I'd like to hear other peoples point of view.

I do hope that i am wrong, and those suggesting a low at £1are correct.I remember from before i had 97p as a possible.
80p ?,well yes if 97p doesn't hold then yes it's possible.
I thought we had bottomed at 101 ?,but the chart failed after 121p,(i can't see a 5 wave up),which means the move was a corrective one,not an upward one.
That's as far as my interpretation goes.So i'm negative at the mo.A sit and wait as far as i can see.For me and all the Bulls out there i do hope i am wrong,as i am invested further up the line and need a recovery myself.But i have to say what i see,and i am very pessimistic at what i am seeing.We shall see.

Looks as though i got it right,with the three attempts at 1730 being the top .I do think that maybe it's getting harder to read from here on in.Where is the next buy point ?.
I did have circa 1510,but my top of 1717 turned out to be 1730,so i guess it's slightly higher than 1510.Will this be the next low before we shoot on up again ?.Some of the charts,esp Centamin and Barrick look very ominous, (not good),and it would need a very strong up move soon to negate the bearish look of the charts.
But maybe Poly is different.Unlike Cent and Barrick, that bottomed on 26th of Feb,Poly bottomed on 30th of March,so maybe it's different ?.
Any help please,from you TA's out there ?.If it goes pear shaped,how about a maximum low of Circa 970 ?.
I do hope it doesn't end up doing this,but one needs to work out all the possibilities.

It's all very well posters posting positive fundamentals,but we are at 106p,and the chart looks like a 3 wave Bear market rally since our previous low !!!.
It ain't looking good !!!

From what i can see, re Technical analysis ,(of which i am not an expert), Elliott wave wise.i can see a weak 5 wave rise since the low at circa 101 p,and are now in a small corrective wave.But at the moment it looks very weak,as if we may well retest the low,but not go any lower.Any help out there as to Elliott wave at the moment.Have i got it right ?.
What could save us obviously is a rise in the gold price.The question still needs to be answered as to really why S.P. is so low since the high of 234p.Many theories have been put forward by your good selves.But what is REALLY going on here.
I guess we will find out some time in the future ?.

With three assaults on the 1730 mark and failed,looks as if we are in for some profit taking.The question is, how far the pullback ?.
Any suggestions as to how far,so we can top up ?.

The pullback to 108 has been completed and the S.P. is now at a critical point.We don't really want to go below 108 again,that would be very disappointing,and very bearish.So we need to see some headway from here.
Some,(or most ) things in life are puzzling,the S.P. of this company for example.Plenty of people on here pointing out all things bullish.But is there something else going on ?.Something more Dark and disturbing ?.
Put it this way,if everything was as simple as just reading the fundamentals and analysing them,everybody would be rich.
There is something else going on,that moves a share price.Is it that difficult to be a successful investor ?.
Or is it that those who know what moves markets simply don't tell ?.

I feel quite happy now that my take on what was to happen re my post at 13.49 on Tuesday,seems to be happening,.I say SEEMS, as things could change.I see it bouncing around a bit,before we do a pullback.I hope to do a calc,so that i can safely buy into this company.
Posters on here should not be deterred at any weakness in S.P. in the coming future,It will be nothing more than a technical correction.I hope you techies out there will help me as to the extent of the pullback.If i am wrong,the Bulls can rejoice anyway.Let's hope we can work out the ups and downs so we can benefit and top up on pullbacks in the future.

Thanks for the reply.Your comments make very good sense.Technically, a bounce around 110p is seeable.But with the negative broker comments and the steepness of the fall,one wonders if if it can build a base from here,from which to continue upwards.
It could well be a bumpy ride,at least in the short term.

In Life certain things are very strange.All on here seem very sensible,knowledgeable, and know what they are talking about,especially the Fundamentals of this company.
Why then is the truth of the worth of this company,is at opposite ends of the scale.The truth about anything must waver,at worst, in the middle range,when nobody is sure,(e.g. Brexit ).
It CAN'T be at opposite ends.The consensus should be that it is either bullish,or it's bearish or it's a "don't know", (as in election polls,Brexit etc ).Truth about something should not be, and cannot be at opposite ends of the scale.
Yet here we are,and if we include brokers,we have an opinion of 82p and 150 p.
The problem,is how we get around this and get to the truth ,as to the true value of this company.Any suggestions as to how we get around this ?.It's an important question that the answer could well help us all,in the future,not only in Finance ,but in all matters in life that we come across in the future. If we can work out the answer,success will follow.Any tips and advice on this ?.

Ok Svend,i agree the strange strong move up from the low could well power it up more.It is just that i "thought" i could make out a 5 wave up move from the low.If the move remains powerful we may well end up in a running correction even ,(get a load of me ,i sound like an expert !!!).
I am looking for an entrance point.Very tricky !!.Well, what will be shall be as they say.I'm sure that there will be a blow off spike one day in the future,like as in 1980, where it overshot the fundamental price by some 150 %.Here's hopIng !!!!!!!!.

Thank you Svend.Is there any chance of an alternate scenario ?.I know this may sound strange,but with talk of it being overbought,i wondered if any other possibilities.I am not dissing your opinion,as it's probably better than mine.
But a pullback,(if so to where ) before reaching your prediction ?,or would it not be allowable ?.
As we all know,charting gets more interpretational and difficult to assess these days.
If you are sticking to your original analysis with no caveats ,no problem,wouldn't want to offend.

Any help on where the s.p. is going next ?.I have been trying to analyse the rise from the low as regards Elliott wave.It is always difficult trying to count the waves.Is anybody on here doing this ?,preferably on a smaller time chart, one hour or similar etc ?.
I see a possible top here before a pullback (to where ?).I think there will be one more push up to test the last recent high before it makes a pullback/correction.Any help out there ?.Much appreciated and thanks in advance.

Yes,agree.But as we know "the news follows the stock market,the stock market doesn't follow the news".If gold had soared today they would have cited todays news as a reason for it.How will they explain the fall today ?.They will probably put it down to "profit taking after the recent rise".
When you find out what is common to the rises and the falls,then you have cracked it.
