Yes agree on all your points.BUT, is there a chance that the low price that it is,means that there is some info out there, behind the scenes, that is yet to come out ?.
Is there something that we don't know about, lurking in the shadows ,yet to be made public ?.
If so,any speculation as to what it could be ?.As the S.P. seems incredibly weak.

The S.P. on the chart is doing what we all thought it was.Making heavy weather of it, curling over and heading downwards.
This is not a good sign.It needs to break up sharply,and build a base above the last high.
At the moment it doesn't look likely.The move up from 106 looks more like a bear market rally at the A will take a lot to negate that view.A sudden surge in the POG would be helpful !!!!.
Remember,"the news follows the stock market,the stock market DOESN'T follow the news ".Markets do their own thing and most of the time,any rise or fall does NOT necessarily make sense with any news around at the time .

Agree with posters.It really needs to push on up from here.Wouldn't really want to see more weakness at this point.

Answer, technicals.Should do a small rally from here,and needs to punch above 51p to be bullish.any push below here,(after a rally) would be negative.

51p looks to have been the end of the rally as i and others had said.Looks as we are in for a bumpy ride,(AGAIN !!!!!).

Keeps bouncing off it.So lets hope it continues doing it,and punch up well above it and stay there.

My sentiments exactly.A rudderless ship describes it to a tee,(USA,UK).Can't see how Inflation can be avoided.

In my previous post i said that 45 to 48 p would be the peak chart-wise.What the S.P. has to do now is to punch through the last high and stay above it.Then there would be hope for the bulls.
Any weakness from now would be obviously bearish.This share tends in the past to trade sideways for quite a while then shoot sharply down.If it does that again,even the initial sharp move down will be seen as cofirmation of further lows.

Just looked at the chart,haven't done any calcs but it could well soon rally again.It hit the 45 to 48p range already , as expected,and if it has another go at it it would be soon.
One must say tho that this share makes hard weather of anything,even a rally!!!.It may go up to 48p but i don't think it's a worthy risk.Coupled also with the fact that the main market has technically a big chance to fall, and the coronavirus factor, means it's a sit and wait for me

I posted on the 24th and 26th of May re the upcoming crash on the Indexes ,starting on June 1st,(also see FT100 chat site).
Looks like I was a week out as the last high was on this Monday.
Today's 1800 fall on the Dow looks Ominous,and it would take quite a feat for it to recover.
Where this leaves Centrica is open to debate.If Markets continue to fall tomorrow and next week,things will be very dodgy for all of us .

Should see resistance there,then give the chart another look.

Yes the jury is still out, as 29.1 may well have been the bottom.But what I'm seeing is one last leg down.I'm not right all the time.
Yes Anon,i forgot to include that in my last post.Much more representative.A good mix of posters on here,all coming from different angles.Let's hope we can together crack this, and come up with a consensus that makes us all winners.

When it was the FT 30 index ,I don't remember it happening during the '74 crash (I could be wrong).The Dow for instance is too weighted on the techy stocks (Apple,Amazon etc).Don't the Airline stocks need the same consideration ?.Whole business's are going bust, and are in the real world with real people losing their job.
Maybe the "new"upcoming world of staying in and staying next to your laptop,should be put under a new banner of "emerging markets"(within your own country).
An Index is supposed to be representative of what's going on.Doesn't look to be representative at all !!.
