Big storm starting from now.Maybe next week,but it's coming.As for Centrica,it may go sideways for a while but can't see it going up to 45p now,as it should have.
As to decisions whether as to invest in this dog,put it this way,why put to sea when a storm is brewing?.

Gasman,a golden rule,never go "all in",so to speak.If you only put one percent of your total money that you have set aside for investing, in any ONE share only,you won't run the risk of finding out that the company has been cooking the books,and the S.P. tanks,and ALL your money has gone!!.
So 1%,and you are spreading your risk.Do that,no matter how good one single company looks to you,and you will AVERAGE out better that way.

In reply to your Question.The low reached on 3rd April was a significant support point on the chart using Math calc,systems and numerous Technical Analysis tools available.Time analysis backed it up as well.
So that's the theory anyway.My own opinion is that it will be a "bounce",if any!!!,and how much it goes up is unclear.But a maximum target of 45 to 48p is possible.
I can't see that it can stop tanking when the next down move of the whole market happens again.If it reaches the target I have given I would sell up.
At the end of this month,or possibly the end of May,things will start to happen.So be wary and keep a sharp lookout.

p s I did post in the past that it would bounce off 63p,and said that I didn't know how far it would rise.It did and made 50%.I believe I posted 123p as a possible bounce point and it bounced at 124p and peaked at 266?.Turning bearish at 136p.

Any close below the last low on April 3rd,would turn this Bearish.

Perhaps we should all recognise everybody's good points and bad points on here,and take all the good bits that people have and try and make some money.
Now does anybody on here have what they reckon is a good punt,backed up by solid reasons,that is non Centrica?.
Example back in 1984,i saw a programme about Aids,and how vicious and clever it was,and saw a big problem.
The next day I was surprised at the lack of media response.Nobody was getting it,(the problem that is).
I should have put money in LRC (condoms),and quadrupled my money.

Anybody that thinks anything that is said on here can move the share price is incredibly naïve.So no assumptions please.
I hope and trust that we are all talking truthfully when giving our opinions.I don't take umbrage with anybody who disagrees with me, because I may be wrong.
I hope that Ollie can give his reason for picking 100 to 120,as all comments should be backed up with reasons.
It is not the best way to describe any investment decision as "ballsy"or to use another term that an investor based a decision on a "gut" reaction.This smacks of emotional investing,and should be avoided.
Look,we all hope to make money,and with Boohoo they are well placed to do better than most..But,what sort of landscape will we see when the dust settles ?.Even a comment that "once the virus is gone",is taking a lot for granted.Some people are getting excited about reaching a plateau with the virus deaths.We need to get it back to zero and then wait for a while.But that will take time.Who in the business world will survive,and in what shape?.
The problem that we all face is health problem,not an economic one,so we have no point of reference,which means that investors are living in dangerous and uncharted waters.So be careful.

The vast majority of shares are in a corrective phase,(rally in a Bear market).You can trade the swings and get "near"the main lows and highs,but it's dodgy stuff.
The close below 190 was a disappointing event.Negative, suggesting technical weakness.A wait and see attitude is best at the moment.The share price could go to the 242 (as at the moment) to 266 range eventually,before Bears start dipping their toe in again.(wide band given because of the wild swings intraday).
It'll bounce around a bit until towards the end of the Month.Have a look at CNBC (channel 505),very interesting opinions abound about the view as to what can happen next.
Anyway that's how I see things.Good luck to all.

Look,It's simple.Posters post their opinions on Forums,we note who gets in right more than wrong.We make a note of them,and we take notice of their opinions when making our investment decisions,and hopefully we stand a better chance of making money!!!!.Simple aint it!!.
Posters that do not hold,are like me, giving their opinions because they are looking for an possible entry point.
You have to give your honest opinion.Hopefully as I have said earlier,we could all end up making money.
Don't frighten posters away if they disagree with you,e.g. where is Kelloggs?.
The more posters on here the better,esp if they give opinions that are solid and have solid reasoning behind them.

Yes, a brilliant post,very much to the point.Quite right,what will we need to invest in?.When this virus is gone and we have the all clear,everybody and every company will still owe money.So where will people have the money to eat out,buy clothes,go on Foreign Hols,(cruise anybody !!??,quite!!),etc etc.
Everything will be curtailed to a certain degree,it aint going to go back to as it was.Not for a long while.

Well yes, the final results could look good.But that's PAST results,how are they going to look in the future ?.
Spain has seen an uptick in cases,(bizarre ),and apparently in New York,a lot of young people getting it bad?.
Investors are looking forward,and seeing a lot of uncertainly,the old adage "the market hates uncertainty" rules in these uncertain times.
Has the market bottomed ?,or is what's happening at the moment,merely Bear closing ?.

On Forums it would be nicer if people always gave their reasons for their point of view that they hold.
For me it is based on my understanding of charts.I can only say that I am a buyer of these shares,but only at the right price.
Based what I know (open to debate as to whether how good or bad I am at it),the chart is showing a rally in a bear market.Does it not look as if it's curling over ?,Sharp moves up then running out of steam?.
Unfortunately,the next big move when it comes is down according to my analysis.
What could negate it, is some unexpected very good news .Where this is going to come from,God only knows.

I would,wouldn't waste my time worrying about criminals in nick.Martial Law.all acts of crime deemed as Treason,{should have done it in world war 2}Got no time for nonsense,joyriders etc.Fit and healthy, crims in nick that leave prison and commit a crime,no benefit,also people on benefit,break the law,no benefit.No more taking advantage of well meaning socialists.
We need to look after the people that play the game,time for nonsense to stop.That way ,we'll be in a better shape to survive what's coming.We are either in the big society together,or you are out, no more wasting any more time on ****takers .
There are good law abiding people out there that need help.No time to waste resources on ****takers.
