Oh Dear,One more move down on Wall Street and the Footsie,before a fair rally.But still no real headway with the share price.It's like trying to walk in treacle,it's being mired down by outside factors.A rally should come in mid Feb and then that's the only time it could turn around.
As for a change of government,Crazy as it may sound, the voters could fancy a change in government.If Labour put up somebody else,this could happen,seeming you can't find anybody to say a decent word about any politician at the moment.
Somebody new could inspire voters with new hope,although at the mo,where from?..

It's been going sideways for a while now [the S.P that is.], next move will be down from here.Any push above 142 would be positive for the shares.Theres always the alternative view.
So Bulls need a close above 142.Any close below 128 would be very bad .There would of course be a rally after a low of below 128.But Decisions would then be made as to whether to bail out.
Please note.Nothing said on here Bullish or Bearish,would affect the price.The Market Makers are not paying any attention to people on here..

Agree with what you say,tho Robot trader did pick the 140 bottom last year as well.I suppose posters put their opinion forward and then it's up to us to us to make our final decision.
We are all likely to be right and wrong with our opinions,and we hope to be right more times than we are wrong.
As for private investors,one hopes that they have learnt the basics of investing,to the point that they read all opinions of Analysis and then make their best decision based on everything they know.
.I can't believe that some councils have bought up shopping centres to "regenerate the High Street",and to use the income from them to pay for social services.MAD !!!.The high street is dead.They will survive, albeit with specialised shops,a bit like Brightons Lanes area,tho you still would need the right sort of customer,supposing in the first place that they are there !!!!!.
I never thought that I would see Boohoo back at these levels.Totally due to the U.S. sell off and Brexit worries.
They go on about being in a Bear market in the U.S.But is it a Bear Market or a correction in a Bull Market ?.Chart-wise i had the Major top of the main marketsa lot higher than this, and i believe that we have to see what happens after the circa 6500 rally.After a good rally it would need to push on from there.A retest of the low point would be ok,but we would have to be on our toes watch out for the dreaded so called AB base on the chart.Strong nerves are going to be needed.
One guy on NBC said that he would prefer to wait for a confirmation of a resumption of the Bull market,rather than trying to pick the absolute bottom.In these trying times,that may prove to be the best policy.
Final decision is up to us.But consider a look to the future.Gridlock on the roads,parking problems,weather conditions [too hot ,too cold],and people having less time in a day [I know one married lady who gets home at 9 at night,and then has to deal with her 2 children and working hubby.Basically she's swamped.],and you can see that shopping isn't now, or in the future going to be much fun!!!!.
So online will reign supreme one day.So surely long term,presuming our leaders here and in the U.S.,and China et al
can settle their differences,Boohoo will do well.

The whole point of Forums is that everybody eventually finds out who can read the Market moves of Boohoo et al and who can't.
Then you take notice of them only and they and you make money.Simple isn't it.Just remember,nothing said on here moves the price.Market Makers are taking no notice of posters on here.So don't worry if anybody on here is a Bull or a Bear.Truth will out, and afterwards we can check out who can get it right,[ok albeit most of the time].
The U.S. has until Feb. 28th to get a workable trade deal with China.That in itself will determine [depending on what sort of deal happens] on what happens to markets.Brexit over here is another hurdle in itself.
If the footsie is at circa 6500 around the middle of February,any time just after could well be the turning point of all markets.Certainly a good bounce anyway.

Haven't been on here for a while.Ugly looking fall from 266,and frankly it's a bit bizarre.Technically a bounce should happen about circa 188,and it should be a good one.Then comes the crunch,it needs to hold on to the rise somewhat, and any fall back below the bounce point would be very negative indeed.
There is a scenario that's too scary to mention.Basically it is that everything since the 139 to 266 move ha been nothing but a corrective move.I sincerely hope that it recovers and goes on it's way up.But for me these shares are making heavy weather of everything.I see that a lot of you on here are puzzled as to its s.p. performance.
Me included,!!.Personally i'm avoiding them and will keep a watching brief only

I don't recall calling myself an expert.you analyse things and come up with your view based on your knowledge of the subject.
Investors who rely on fundamentals still have to explain why when good results are announced,a share goes down.And when bad results are announced a share goes up.
On looking through numerous posts,whatever share,even the fundamentalists argue among themselves as to the interpretation of results balance sheets etc.Even on here they come up with totally different interpretations of the latest results.Some saying Conn is doing bad and some saying the opposite citing that he has got it right.
So let us all agree,it's all about opinion and interpretation,even perception,[which is something that cannot be learned ].
So we all hope in our investments,[2% of bank in each share],that we will be right more than we are wrong and therefore make a profit.Thats all we can hope for realistically.So please try not to read too much into what people are writing.It's only their opinion.

When the price dropped suddenly from 155 to 142,it suggested something was up. Then the drop from 145 to 132 sealed it.I got out at 135,as it had broken solidly through 140.
Charts are only a guide,and sure things can happen [such as a bid],that can scupper things.But i didn't buy between 174 and 123,and got out Yesterday without losing money.Like travelling through a desert,i prefer to use a map,same with charts,all a guide.
As for Fundamentals.How do you determine whether or not a fundamental is priced in regarding a companies share price ?.Things that are known about a company and things that are unknown and the like.So that's a big problem just for starters.

Chart says it's going lower.I've sold up,i had a feeling there was one more down move to go and I seem to have been right.
NOT a share to be in at the moment.Many people talk about support levels,but they are only minor levels.The big support level,[there's only one more realistically] is sub 100.

This may seem at first view as ridiculous,but that was said when i posted that when at 174 i said that if it didn't hold that level,123p was the next support level.At the time it was suggested that it was a ridiculous suggestion.
And so here we are.Best that we can hope for iis a double bottom.Things CAN change,but the odds are against it.

You may well be right,it really needs to punch on up and break through the trading range,then the bears will run for cover.

So you say then that BT is good on the fundamental side of things?.Long term charts say a buy,but drop to 202 caught a lot out.Agree about M & S.
With gridlock on the roads,shoppers having less time to balance their job/travel to and back from/kids at home etc,, means that shopping ain't no fun when you're knackered !!!,so the surrender to online shopping becomes a no-brainer.
New homes going up everywhere,which means more cars on the road.
A journey from Brent Cross shopping centre on December 12 last year,to my Dentist in Tottenham [Sat-Nav estimated time was 25 minutes ],took one hour and 15 minutes,as I say it was hard to enjoy shoppingwhen you are running on the clock.And it's NOT going to get any better.So that's my take,everything eventually online.

Hello,you seem an intelligent fellow.I have been put off this site,as I got into ridiculous situation on here when I hailed online as the best area to make profits in the future.
I said that technically a buy at 135 or about 120 was the bottom,when it headed down from 150 some months ago.
I got responses of a negative nature asking why I thought these shares were crap,when I said the opposite !!!.
,They turned at 139.
I posted on sept. 15th that as they were at 170,just above the low of 167,that the bottom had been reached and a rise was on the cards.
No comment followed my post.Can I ask you your views on BT,M&S and Centrica ?.Just to see if we are both on the same page.

I reckon a bounce at 148 is on the cards tho how far it will go up from there will need to be calculated.I work it out that it will eventually go a a lot lower.

Looks as if my post on Sept 15th,was, er,useful to some ?. [I hope,or trust ?.]

Technically,167p should be the extent of the correction from 220. Hope it continues up from here.Lets wait and see.

Nice bounce,it's looking good, but still fingers crossed.We should soon see who has gained the upper hand.

4 spikes now,this could be Bear squeezing the little guys who shorted the share.When they are done with them the big boys could well then start their own shorting.
If you look at the tops of the Tesco chart you can see similar spikes before the fall.I just hope i'm wrong about this.

Where is Kellogs ?.A bit foolish was it not to upset the guy ?.The whole point is to look and see which of the posters have real foresight and could make good calls.

The rise from 124p looks on the chart as if it's to use a running term "trying to run in treacle".It goes up and then runs out of steam and curls over.Even that to a non chartist looking at the chart is not hard to see and appreciate how it all looks

we'll just have to see.It needs a sudden sharp up move to suggest things may change,soon.

I'd just like to say that I understand EXACTLY what he is saying.Hope you posters don't scare him away.Finger on the pulse and all that.I am hoping for a rise,but agree with him about the latest s.p. moves.
