Please bear with me while I explain My first passion waso horse racing.like have developed after 3o years a way of predicting using algos the position on a racecard of where the winner will be. I have had some remarkable winners and forecasts. Winners at 100 to 1 220 to 1 140 to 1 in my top 3 or 4.frustratingly I would find that if I did card number 17 and 18, 19 would win.In the same race some 5 years apart,I centered on 16.The year I did 16,17 beat 15.The year I did 17 and 15, 16 won. It suddenly struck me that if I tried with shares that I did not need to be exact,I only needed to be in the ballpark area .aso for finding aIgos i twice predicted the winning numbers of the Natonal some months before and one 35 runner race 11 months before. One week when 4 days before a 35 runner race when 93 runners were still showing I correctly pinpointed where in the race the winner was The same the next week when 53 runners showed for the big race 4 days before. If I can do that then picking bottomso should be easy ?. If anybody knows a good computer programber perhaps as regards the ponies we could go into business.? I have found some algos for shares and want to concentrate my time on this.As people often say on here DYOR.So what say you all ?. By the way this is not a scam.Had problems on racing sites,full of people making assumptions,and we all know where that gets us. Yes Jack you are correct, SUPPORT. Re. "if you think you can".Well in the eighties I used to go along to the City Business Library in Basinghall St.in the City.I learned a lot from the Chart Analysis books done by David Fuller [where is he now?],and some ancient reference books. I didn't have much spare cash and worked out some nice correct bottoms for quite a few shares.What happens when you put it into practice is another matter.Out of 20 shares I plotted,the 4 that I punted went nowhere.the rest to the stratosphere. I got into Property,and had a couple of bottoms worked out over the years,Gold at 250 that I worked out some 14 years before.][how's that for a guess] and Billiton at �1,and Betfair at �7.50.I didn't invest and it has frustrated me ever since. So 2 years ago I got back into it,and did some trial runs that have looked quite promising. being a prediction that One example is having bought at 172 a short term peak at 251 for Tesco was indicated.It rose and turned down at 251 exactly.That's accurate tho it never works out dead exact all the time,[bit lower, bit higher].That was late 2015. I missed a couple, Sig at 87p,though I should have at least had a go when it went down again to 92p [thihk that's correct from memory.].Anyway I have a list of bottoms [hopefully],and I sit and wait for when these shares reach them.Good luck to all,lets hope that 119/120 is is fact the bottom.

All predictions whatever based can be scuppered by any number of things.a nuclear bomb going off would scupper anything.Smaller unknowns can can render any prediction useless. But Charts give you resistance points as to where the rallies SHOULD be.Along with other calcs they all should arrive at the same point.Not one system but many.So i'll go with my method for now.

I posted on here that a chart support was showing at 174p,and that the next buy point was 123p.Many questioned the 123 prediction.I didn't buy then and It didn't hold that price. And now here we are with the s.p. nearing 123p,[I've since posted a more accurate 115/119,now circa 119p]. So I missed all the chance of buying between 174 and the price it is now.Which is a good thing as any buy between those points would have been premature. So i'll stick with my "Guesses".

As it stands today,i have 119/120 as a major rally point [maybe major bottom].I shall do as Kellogs suggests and wait for at least a base to form before buying. Once again re guessing.I yiu use math as a basis for decisions,you are not guessing !!.You might not get it right some of the time.BUT it's not guessing !!!.I guess [oops] that maybe a fundamental assessment has been made by posters.If so that must be done by math also. So will people from now on state,those that use charts those that do Fundamental math predictions,and those that are in fact just using their gut reaction [a guess].

S.P. should go down to the 192/195p mark before it continues to rise again.Looks set fair for the Bulls.

Just to say that I and others are not working on the 119 low that you refer to..What you say is correct,it hasn't touched it. I am working on the correct numbers,and say that it will go down to circa 120p,and then do a very good rally at least. There is good reason to believe that 120 will be the long term bottom.But with this share we will then need to watch it very closely. We may well hit it come Feb 22nd.Or if it hits before then,possibly Feb 22nd will be the day that it signals a breakout on the chart.Things will be getting very interesting indeed

Aspers,where on this site have I or Kellogs referred to ourselves as "experts"?.I put at the end of my post, IMHO. It was on here or on the Tesco site that I stated that I say what I say,but I like everybody else I can be wrong or right. Nobody has a monopoly on the truth as to what is going to happen. We all only put out opinions based on Fundamental or technical [charts] views.Yes we can be right or wrong.The trick is to be right more than we are wrong. As for your post,YOU are absolutely SURE,that Chartists on here are talking rubbish,and that you KNOW for definite what is going on. Would you like to then tell us all,when and what to buy, and when to sell .As we all would like to become rich. So go ahead,MAKE OUR DAY.Or of course you could rewrite your post stating that you disagree with what we are saying.and that you take a different view. ACTUALLY hold on,you say the shares are fundamentally sound and the shares are going to go up?.Errr,so are we !!!,albeit after it goes near 120. Well,wasn't this known years ago ?.Since then the S.P. has collapsed.Your points that you make do not stack up.

Montecristo,you cannot make definite predictions until you get near the target price.If the s.p. collapsed straight through 120 to 100 [like the recent collapse] all bets would be off and you wouldn't have invested. As an investor,when it nears your target price, you watch it like a hawk, and you may jump in a few pence higher than the bottom. To give absolutes now is ridiculous.Personally I would buy near 120,hoping not to get into a panic buy situation,and leave it at that. Otherwise you could do what Kellogs suggests,which is virtually the same as what I wrote.

From what I can make out on the chart,i thought we had just finished the third leg of a 5 wave down movement. This rally from 131 looks like a fourth wave,to be followed by the final fifth wave leg to near 120 to possibly 124. Of course if the buyers jump the gun, the last move down could fail and come up short of 120/124. Either way,there should be a good rally.Whether it's the long term bottom or not would depend on confirmation on the chart a little bit later on.IMHO

I tip my hat to everybody that has posted on this page.I have always been a firm believer in investors pooling their knowledge. On the basis that if the majority of us agree on when to buy ,then the more successful we should all be.

Aspers,you might as well call me a cornflake as well,as Kellogs confirms what my limited knowledge of charts is telling me. I for one would like him to keep posting.I'd even like him to tell us when and what to buy.i have the distinct feeling that we would all become rich.So Aspers,a few more measured posts would be welcome from you. Perhaps I'm being a bit unfair,and you were implying humour into your post.But as I have said before on forums. Post a serious comment first,you can always end your post with a nice bit of wit.Nothing wrong if you do it that way. Instead of implied joke followed by joke.......
