I entirely agree, Newboy, and in fact I have been saying as much for quite some time. I have always had an uneasy feeling about this relationship.

Can I suggest, TheHare, that if you as feeling despondent, perhaps another read of the RNSs on 16 July and 15 November might help to make you feel a little more positive. Those RNSs show clearly what is in the pipeline and what is being worked on behind the scenes. I cannot believe that all of those items are going to peter out and come to nothing, and although I am as frustrated as anyone that we seem to take for ever to reach a conclusion on many of the things that are in process, I am convinced that we will, sooner or maybe later, be presented with an announcement that will secure the future of the company. I do hope that we get one of those RNSs very soon.

You're right, Jono44, I had missed that placing RNS. So either the figure in the Accounts at 30 June 2018 is wrong (simply copied across from the previous year-end) or he has disposed of the 4M shares. Actually I would have thought that the latter is rather unlikely.

If MCAMikeB's post is correct that he now owns 0.26% of the shares, then that would work out at about 5,200 or 5,300 which would suggest that he still holds the full amount and that the figure in the latest accounts is wrong.

So that would be 5,200, or 5,200,000 before consolidation. Yet the Accounts at 30 June 2017 show him having only 1,300,000 and I see no notifications of him acquiring any additional shares after that date.

Once again I have read through the RNSs of 16th July and 15th November, and given the positive tone of these statements and the progress described within them, surely we could have expected announcements since then regarding:
- agreements with electrode manufacturers;
- final selection of a flow plate manufacturing partner;
- contract to create the first fully containerised Alkaline Fuel Cell system;
- completion of agreement with Southern Oil;
to mention just a few. I don’t expect the company to issue an RNS to update every little bit of progress, but they must have made significant progress on at lease some of these issues, so I would hope that we will be getting another update very shortly.

Where did it say that he used to hold 5M shares? I can't find that anywhere, probably not looking in the right place.

RNS !st November:
"Southern Oil is currently reviewing the final engineering design of their hydrogen solution at the bio-refinery which may result in an adjustment to the volume of hydrogen available for the fuel cell system in Gladstone..."

RNS 15th November:
"The project, subject to confirmation of final commercial terms, remains on track for delivery to Australia and commissioning within the early part of the third quarter of 2019, with the sale and lease agreement between the two companies expected to be completed in the near future."

So, whatever "in the near future" means, surely some kind of news update on this project will be coming out very soon.

3.8 mid price. This is getting worse. We need an update with good news.

This is absolutely unbelievable behaviour for a company that was supposedly on the cusp of commerciality about a year ago, perhaps even earlier than that. If they were going for a placing surely they would have come out with some good news first so stabilise or increase the SP, rather than letting the SP slide precariously to the point where they would have to give an eye-watering discount to get a placing away.

If this turns out to be leaked placing, then somebody should be sued, or better still, jailed.

I hope no-one is still using stop-losses on this share any more!

Forget Chinese money. I will never invest in expectation of Chinese money ever again.
I hope there is a mega ramp coming, and I hope it sends the SP high enough to let me out of here without a massive loss.

Yep, hydrogen cars are coming, in fact they are here now. ITM must be getting subsidised by the motor companies or by shell because as far as I'm aware the cost of producing hydrogen by electrolysis is higher than they could sell it for, so someone else must be covering the difference.

PHE needs to get their hydrogen production moving fast because the whole hydrogen scene is moving ahead faster than was ever envisaged. It's growing at exponential rates.

Funny that there was no big drop on the day that PW sold his shares (10th) so I don't see any logical reason for a big drop today just because the RNS has now been issued.

There is other important news to out about the site up north and progress on the first commercial unit, so it's not just Toyota news that we're waiting for.

The MMs seem to have been able to pick up a few stop-losses.
