Looks like he raised about £30k from sale of some of his shares. Not a huge proportion of the total that he has invested here, and and you say jab he doesn't earn a salary any more so he has to sell now and again to get money to live on.

Seems to me that Hynet are building a hydrogen infrastructure which can be used by other hydrogen producers, perhaps PHE, to store and distribute hydrogen. It looks to be like a grid, similar to the electricity grid, that various producers and consumers can hook up to.

The BoD should be taken to task and held to account for the absolute total destruction of shareholder value. Perhaps the GM will be an opportunity for shareholders to do that?

Presumably the UK won't be ratifying this because we will be out of the EU soon. Will the UK have to start again and get its own trade agreement with Japan after Brexit?

jasehem: The statement that you quote is referring to the acquisition of the Middleburg 7.5MW smelter, which seems to have been put on the back burner, and may not take place at all. But their strategy is still to construct their own 15MW smelter, although they don't appear to have committed to a time scale. This sentence in the Chairman's statement refers to their own 15MW smelter:

"The scale of the VTM resource in our project is capable not only of supplying a potential off-take partner in a long-term agreement but also support the development of our own smelting and production capacity."

Also, the last paragraph in the RNS dated 26 September seems to confirm that they have secured funding for the construction of their own smelter:

"Since acquiring the Project, Ironveld has obtained the necessary permits to begin construction and has secured financial support from the South African Government via the Industrial Development Corporation. The long-term objective remains to operate our own smelting capacity to process the large Vanadiferous Titaniferous Magnetite resource at the Project."

Yes nowucit, I requested clarification about the land lease, and got a reply pointing to a sentence in an RNS that I had missed.

This is what ITM is hoping to do at each individual service station, but in the UK it may not be so easy to get the green electricity and certainly not in large quantities.

I disagree - the application and discussions with land owners took place during the Period, I am convinced that "with successful conclusion post period" means that they have now got the water licence.

We haven't even got Brexit yet, and look at the damage it's doing already.

I really don't know anything about this technology, and PHE hasn't said which company they may be doing a deal with for PSA equipment. But I'm sure it's very much this sort of thing, and may even be this company, who knows. As BB stated earlier, rather than buying one of these rather expensive pieces of kit, it is more likely that they will be hiring or leasing a small scale unit for Thornton Park for testing and gathering data etc., if indeed they are looking to run an AFC fuel cell unit there.

Thanks, sharesport. The thing that puzzles me, and is also brought out by BumbleB's comment today, is that when they issued the RNS in March 2017, where they intending to buy or hire PSA equipment to purify the hydrogen from the prototype?

Looking back to the RNS on 23rd October 2017, we may have the answer:
" PowerHouse has reached an initial agreement in principal, subject to minor engineering detail and finalisation of commercial arrangements, that one of the Suppliers is prepared to provide its proprietary small-scale Pressure Swing Adsorption (“PSA�) equipment to separate and clean up the hydrogen within the syngas to  road-fuel quality hydrogen. Should the Supplier be selected to provide its equipment, it is prepared to guarantee and warrant the performance of the equipment."

So it seems that a PSA supplier may be prepared to "lend" PHE a small scale piece of equipment so that they can test and hopefully prove their ability to produce high quality hydrogen from the demonstrator unit suitable to operate AFC's fuel cells. And of course that would also prove the ability to produce road-quality hydrogen.

It would certainly be good to see these two companies being able to operate together, good for those who have invested in both companies, like me!

Yes, BumbleB, you beat me to it! I just realised I was talking rubbish after pressing the "Post" button!

BumbleB: I'm thinking that it is very possibly an AFC fuel cell system, because the only other specialised equipment that I'm aware of that they might be looking for would be the Pressure Swing Absorption equipment to produce pure hydrogen, and I seem to recall that that equipment would cost about £5M, so that would be unlikely.
