My hope is that once they start drilling Ororo we will see a lot higher than 2p.

What we need now is news about the rig move to Ororo. Surely that will push the SP upwards, when it comes.

Yes, Newboy, very much so. Initially we were expecting the first DMG system to be up and running by the end of 2018, then about July or August, I think it was, we were told it wouldn't happen until about Q3 2019, but we haven't really heard much since then. I was certainly hoping for news about planning and permissions, signing of lease for the site, ordering of bits & pieces for the construction, perhaps even contracts for the supply of feedstock and PPA for the sale of electricity. And much more. I believe that there is a lot of other things going on, such as discussions with a number of possible interested parties, including Toyota, but I would really like to har about progress on the first DMG unit because until we have the first one up and running, it's really all "good intentions".

I recall a few months ago this subject was discussed, and it was stated by someone, perhaps KA or in a report somewhere, that regarding the processing of waste tyres, or tyre crumb, that the DMG system produces about one-sixteenth of the CO2 that would be produced by incineration.

It's only the 7kw charger that they can use for free, presumably because the will be a slow charge and if customers are using it only for say half an hour to one hour while in the store, it won't use a hug amount of electricity. So I suppose that is a form of loss leader for Tesco. The faster charges are to be paid for at market rates, whatever that means.

But AFC need to move fast, because others will be streaking ahead of them.

So all we need now is PHE's first commercial DMG system to be up and running!

stokey, the 6 sites is not new, it was stated previously a few months ago, but not identified.

I seem to recall that KA said he hoped to get the first commercial unit up and running in Q3 this year, but I can't remember where or when he said that.

Thanks Rooky. I definitely agree that the most important thing for PHE right now is to get the first DMG unit up and running. That's what will really push this company, and the SP, forward.

I was just watching the programme on Countryfile on TV tonight. Huge piles of agricultural waste plastic building up on farmland that they can't get rid of any more. It used to be shipped to China but of course China isn't taking it any more. And it is now illegal to burn it or landfill it in the UK. So they simply can't get rid of it and it is building up rapidly all over the place.

The government doesn't have an answer to this problem except to say that the farmers will now have to pay to dispose of their plastic. But that isn't a solution because there is nowhere that they can get rid of it.

PHE needs to get its DMG systems up and running fast - there are thousands of tons of feedstock piling up on the farmland, and the government has absolutely no idea what to do about it.
