Having heavily averaged down from c�17, I'm now "only" 15% down on this share. I'm so happy! However, bracing myself for more volatility.....

Let's also see if the new CEO makes significant share purchases in the near future. That, and positive news on Advair, and the shares will rocket.

.....or uncannily well-timed buying by insiders at the FDA....LOL. Us PIs don't stand a chance, do we?

I'm afraid as far as the market is concerned, bad news for Novartis = bad news for Hikma, good news for Novartis = bad news for Hikma. In other words, Hikma can't win.

The FDA's favouritism towards Glaxo knows no bounds. Let's hope someone blows the whistle on them.

My reading of the RNS's is that these weren't sales or purchases at all, rather the making/ releasing of pledges to various banks of existing shareholdings. So not much significance, if any, IMHO.

Shares edging up at last, following directors' purchases.

Looks like a relatively minor matter, but enough to take the shine off some great results, which would otherwise have propelled the shares above 200p, IMHO.

Maybe the latest debacle will trigger a takeover. Ever the optimist!

1. Director's purchase, c300,000 at 8.9p. Should help sentiment. 2. Should be a trading update in a month or so. Historical numbers will be a write-off, of course, but there should be concrete indications about how the business is being turned around. 3. In the meantime, hopefully there'll be more news of new contracts. With any luck, it won't be long before the shares are back up in the teens.....

I agree that we need news - nothing came out of last week's AGM or today's GM. My broker misinformed me about the meeting dates by the way - I should have known better than to trust them! No chance of 20p by Xmas - Xmas 2018 maybe.....which will still be worth waiting for.

After a quiet period...stand by for action!

I wonder who is selling at these distressed levels? It must be people who have recently bought in at around £10 hoping to make a quick buck, but now losing patience...... Of course, all this will lower the price at which the company could be taken private, which on the face of it is bad news for existing shareholders, except that any such offer should precipitate counter-offers from other industry players at a more reasonable level.

Share price has been sliding despite a significant drop in shorting. A big part of the problem for me is that the company does not communicate well. We need some encouraging noises from them right now, or even something concrete like a share buy-back to flag up the undervalue.

Would have averaged down even more from �14.68, and almost did at �9.50, but already a bit overweight in this share, so it's just nice to sit back and watch the loss being nibbled away at......

Directors have or will have options to buy a shed load of shares at 10p by converting their loans, so can't see them now buying in the market.

...and Barclays had a target of £30 only a year ago!!

AGM now put back to 8/12/17.

Perhaps they're saving more good news for next week's AGM

Is there a conference call? Perhaps this will shed light on why they have suddenly dropped the "fast growing multinational pharmaceutical group" preamble.
