In May, Arden had target of 140p. Even allowing for over-optimism on their part, the current SP level seems ridiculously low.

Revenue for the year as a whole down 10-15% on a like for like basis does not justify 60% drop in SP. Surely a takeover target at this price.

The S and L is a very positive move - foreshadowed in the half year results announcement - which the Telegraph have as usual turned into a negative.

It shows that the company is not just sitting back waiting for a white knight, but getting on with shoring up the business and preparing to carrying on as an independent operator.

This should calm investor nerves, strengthen the company's hand in negotiations with bidders, and lead to a recovery in the SP tomorrow - provided there aren't too many PIs who take the Telegraph seriously!

Stobart know Flybe inside out, so should be in a position to make a bid at any moment presumably. I wouldn't expect much more than 20p though.

KPMG specialists have only been brought in on a limited basis, to work on a cash flow exercise it seems. Mentioning Carillion and Monarch in the same breath is mischievous and going off at a tangent to be honest. Tell me a big firm of accountants that has not been associated in some way with a failing business either as auditor or administrator.

The rather sensationalist Telegraph article last night playing up concerns over "going concern" has spooked a few investors no doubt.

As usual, the historical figures tomorrow will be eclipsed by any update on current trading. Crucially, we should find out tomorrow whether consumer demand is still weakening during Q3 (calendar Q4). In the meantime, it would be interesting to hear the views on this from any frequent flyers with Flybe.

Thinking about it, the shares have come back very strongly after being shorted down to around £8. Buyers at that ridiculously low level will now be very happy to take profits, and it looks like they did in a big way on Friday. I'd now expect a bit of a rebound, then a more gentle upward trend, albeit with wild daily swings.

They certainly aren't large purchases in absolute terms, but when you consider their salary levels they aren't so insignificant.

Also, 2 employees (presumably MW and SG) have options over a total of 2.5m shares exercisable at 15p. Their fortunes are therefore already strongly tied into the SP, eg if the SP gets back to 20p, these options are worth (20-15) x 2.5m = £125k to them.

They've taken your advice: two 50,000 purchases at 10.3p and 10.34p.

Best news from this company for a long time. The promise has become reality. SP should fly.

Current weakness follows Barclays downgrade. However, Barclays price targets are notoriously unreliable. The good news, therefore, is that this creates a buying opportunity in the run up to the next trading update in November.

For a defensive, Hikma's c8% drop today seemed overdone - Glaxo was down just 2% - so I topped up.

Maybe Hikma holders are being particularly cautious after the pain of the last 12 months, which is still very fresh in the memory.
