The new cleansed web site states 15% efficiency for electrical generation. To gt 6.4 kW out then I reckon you need 42.6 kW going in but the Key Data says the maximum input is 20 kW. How does that work ? In fact 15 % is a far more realistic efficiency for a Sterling engine. So with 15 % efficiency and the maximum input that would give you 3 kW out. BUT BUT
you've paid the Gas company about 3.5p x 20 kW = 70p to get 3kW of electricity i.e. 70p/3 kW = 23.3 p far more than you would pay the electric company. How does that work ?

Someone please explain these riddles. Perhaps you can ask Mr. Gunn at the Annual Meeting. Ask why it seems to no longer use waste heat after years of development and why all of a sudden after years f development, exhaustive testing trials etc it can no longer produce what has been stated on the old web site for a decade or more. Of course no-one has ever seen any results from trials or testing.

Also noticed it is no longer a World Class product !

There are longer references to using waste heat to run the Stirling engine, they have cleansed !!!
The new web site only has a single reference to to the word simultaneously i.e. "The appliance produces hot water (for domestic water or central heating) and electrical output simultaneously" Note now there are no figures relating to how much is produced at the same time ? It's fair to say it can't do both at the same time and we know why because it was impossible. Strangely it slipped through independent testing !!

So the latest figures show that heat output can be 5 kW to 15 kW max and electrical output from 1 kW to 6.4 kW. Since it can't do both max outputs simultaneously anymore - apparently, because then output would be 21.4 kW out but only 20 kW in and we know that's impossible.

Lets assume we will get minimum electric output when heat output is maximum i.e. 15 kW, a fair assumption I think. So if we burn the maximum gas input of 20 kW that leaves 0 kW for electric because the boiler is only 75% efficient. We cannot obtain the minimum electric out ???? This means if you want full heat output you get no electric, your house is in darkness - no TV either. It also means that you are paying over the odds, 75% is poor compared to a modern condensing boiler. So we need to produce some cheap electricity otherwise we may as well just buy a modern combi boiler. Now Inspirit are saying that their Stirling engine generator produces electricity far cheaper than the National Grid. This begs the question, why don't they ditch the boiler part of the Charger and simply sell the Charger as an electric generator. Customers could then but a combi boiler at 90 % efficiency to provide thermal energy.

All you investors should go to the annual meeting and give John Gunn a serious quizzing. The goal posts have changed again.

Unlike an internal combustion engine where combustion takes place inside the cylinder, Stirling engines are “external combustion engines” operating at high efficiencies.

This incorrect, Sterling engines have a higher potential efficiency than ICE.

Estimated delivery begins 2020. Consider what would be involved in bringing a complex product to market, the costs involved, the advanced planning required and yet they can only estimate the year. Seems like they need to do some serious work on their Gantt chart.

Just had a very quick read of the website. It seems they have removed references to the waste heat producing the electricity, which was a claim to efficiency. Looks like you now have to burn gas to produce the electricity - not quite as efficient. All throughout their RNS history they state that waste heat produces the electricity and now it doesn't - unbelievable.

I also don't see the word 'simultaneously' i.e. reference to the charger producing 15 kW of heat and 6.4 kW of electricity.

Looks like the site has been rewritten to expunge criticisms of how the boiler was supposed to work. Looks like a cover up, I'll read it properly tonight.

What happened to the hours of testing, independent verification etc. etc. All of a sudden it seems to work on a totally different principle.

After literally years of claiming 15 kW heat and 3 kW electrical simultaneously they have now replaced key data with this, which at first glance obscures the figures

Technical reasons my eye, they were desperately rewriting the web site. It was filled with the impossible.

Perhaps there are no posters posting old news but there are a couple of posters writing drivel day in day out.

Never had and never will have shares in this company.

The reason we look at old RNS statements is to see if what was said was acted upon. It's a history of the company and shows if the company lived up to their promises. It is far easier to look back than look forward, future RNS statements are quite difficult to predict, I think even you will see sense in that.

How have Inspirit lived up to their hype, afraid its there for everyone to see - it has all just been spin, spin spin and more spin. Like an ever spinning wheel, as the song goes.

We are now in the future and what did those past RNS promise - read them. I doubt you will and I doubt you care.

Somemore Ltd is a private company after all. I assume John Gunn owns it, so essentially John Gunn would seem to own everything. Shareholders in Inspirit will own virtually nothing of substance before or after commercialisation - if that ever happens.
I stand to be corrected.

It would seem probable the company Somemore Ltd have ownership of the device. Inspirit only have a license to develop and commercialise - whatever that might mean. Since there are no details available, it may be shareholders have a very tenuous grip on any product,John Gunn being a director of Somemore. I suspect but don't know for sure but its probably private. So, if it were to be commercialised, what would Inspirit have to pay Somemore Ltd to sell any devices that pop out of the production line via royalties or other instrument.

I'm no guru, that's for sure. Just someone that's lost in the past. I don't like seeing people fleeced.
This share is a fleecer. You obviously don't like hearing the the statements from the company. Do the
vague, factless, uncorroborated statements that we never hear the outcomes of bother you.
If they don't they should bother genuine investors.

The Company also announced it entered into a collaboration agreement with the Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers (CIBSE) to produce a formal peer review, by evaluating Inspirit's micro-CHP boiler, the "Inspirit Charger", against other micro-CHP products currently available in the market. CIBSE provide project management, execution and implementation in order to gather the data necessary to produce a report. The Company will provide access to its field trial data as well as offering technical and commercial guidance. It is expected that the final report will be published by the end of 2017.
