An interesting development. I had been of a mind that JG had about 29% and therefore had a pretty good lead when it came to voting up or down any resolutions proposed by CH. But, I'll change my mind based upon this revised figure of 24.9%. I think its going to be a tight run thing. If there is no carrot-on-a-stick RNS before the meeting then JG thinks he has the upper hand. Obviously if we do see the stick waved then he's not sure of winning. It's all down to how many apathetic there are or maybe they have simply forgotten they hold INSP shares. Either way it's going to be interesting and what is the atmosphere in the board room going to be if CH wins a seat.

I wonder what GIS stakeholders feel about JG investing their dosh in his 'personal' company, particularly since it has produced nothing but biological hot air for a decade.

Oldblue: the indisputable evidence from INSP RNS statements, is a Charger incorporating all the so called improvements, efficiencies and designed for manufacture, simply has NOT been announced.
There are lots of waffle about new applications, creating new divisions etc. What exactly is an automotive division. How big is a division ? I think it is left to the readers imagination, we can all have our own interpretation. Of course these statements deliberately provide no factual news as with many other INSP statements. The naive investor can read great things into these non statements but there is no concrete facts, such as: planning, recruitment, people heading the division, investment, premises, projected timelines, products to be made etc. etc. In any rational business these essentials would be public. Where are the adverts for vacancies with INSP, someone must have seen them and of course if no one has then we are led to to the conclusion there is no recruitment. So when John Gunn announces we are creating an automotive division then what does it actually mean?

He also says we are working on a 300 kW standalone unit. Where did that come from ? Where did this project originate, for what customer is this being built? Where are they working on it? Is this another division consisting of more ghost employees toiling away in some mythical factory. Again what does he mean by we are working on ? A 300 kW version, that's a huge step up in output, is it electrical or thermal, surely thermal. This would require some serious new design work, a totally new design of the whole Sterling engine, a long term project. New problems will appear as the outputs are scaled up. Imagine the new effort required to design a new burner with that capacity, a new patent even ? A man with a 3 D package isn't going to design it sat at a desk, the package draws the bits but someone has to design the bit in the first place. What materials, what stresses, what thermal properties, what minimum dimensions, what costings, what availability, what machining/casting properties, what loading on attached bits and so on and so on. AND never been done before !!!

RNS 23 December 2019: ... With the continued growth demand for electric cars, the board are currently setting up an automotive division to utilise the sterling engine to provide a source of power to charge electric motor cars.

Mr. Gunn. Did the board, all two of you, set up the automotive DIVISION ??

How many people are employed ? Where are they based ? What exactly are they going to produce, presumably it will differ from the Charger ? Will it be ready this century ? How are all these huge projects funded ? Will you be able to fund the gigantic launch of the Charger ? Why haven't you ever produced anything to actually sell for your investors ? Will you ever produce anything to the benefit of your investors ?

Please update your investors, they want to know where the money is going !

When you say we are working on - is that you and your wife ? Or is there a project team ? Please provide further updates as promised, come on let shareholders know how their hard-earned is being spent, after all it is their company and not yours

Oldblue: it's obviously very important to you, yes all the derampers went on holiday together. It was paid for by a city group that funded our work. We spent a week in Spain but it wasn't all play we did work, discussing our next moves to get the INSP share price down. BUT
You are too smart for us you have seen right through us. INSP is actually a fantastic company and will shortly be up there with Apple and Amazon when they launch the Charger next week. You need to buy more at every opportunity. Take out a loan and sell your house, you are going to make millions.

Under what conditions does it produce 15 kWt and 6.4 kWe - NO ONE KNOWS

Who tested those figures? who trialled the boiler that produced those figures ? What independent organisation repeated those figures ? NO ONE KNOWS

When you get 6.4 kWt what electricity do you get - NO ONE KNOWS

For heavens sake, It worked 200 years ago.

The issue is, can it produce heat and electricity to make it worth while for customers to want to buy the thing in quantities.

BUT, Inspirit HAVE YET to announce they actually have a working pre-production boiler. This means they DO NOT have anything to test or demonstrate, to you the shareholder, where the money went. Until they do their credibility is fast disappearing. It is obvious anyone that reads this board has their doubts and that includes you.

I think there are several situations where shareholders can have more than 30 % of the voting rights.

Normally If a shareholder increases their holding above 30 % then it normally triggers a take over bid but not neccessarily.

Oldblue: "Starting to look good", again you are kidding. To me it looks like CRH will have trouble getting any resolutions passed, I hope I'm wrong. If that is the case a lot of faith will be lost in John Gunn and thus Inspirit and the whole project, in that case the share price plummets.

If CRH finds out the technology isn't all it's cracked up to be, which seems very likely, it's a similar scenario. Back to the drawing board for the Charger or a total redesign for any new applications. At the very least several years more to wait, meanwhile the world moves on.

Just maybe there is some technology worth having, then it's still a long wait to scale up the Stirling device for industrial applications and that won't be easy, quick or necessarily possible.

Oldblue: If there is a boiler please tell us the RNS that declared a working prototype/verification/test/certification/trials boiler was completed.

Lets look at the Operations Update 8 June 20: ....they will be returning to their normal engineering manufacturing sector and will therefore be able to assist with the testing of our microCHP boiler technology again. The board will provide further updates on timing in due course.

Note the vague statement "testing of our microCHP boiler technology again" it doesn't say testing our microCHP boiler !
Testing THE TECHNOLOGY, now that could mean many things. Why doesn't it say testing our verification/certification/prototype/ BOILER. After all that's what investors are waiting to hear after years of waiting.

More gibberish waffle especial crafted to say absolutely nothing. Why aren't they working on the big launch or is there another team working on that along with the auto division team, the solar division, the marine division. Where were the RNS statements telling investors of the many engineers and scientists that were being hired, where do all these people work ? Where does all the money come from ?

Lots of talk but no substance and not a shred of evidence anything is going to be launched in the immediate future. There has been no certification testing, hence nothing can or will be sold - simple.
