Mirasol: Surely the opposite is true. Because there is no large shareholders then a 5% group may call a EGM and vote out the directors. The outcome decided by the actual voting majority. Since most shareholders are apathetic then a relatively small group could win. Although any institutional investors may vote for SS to maintain the the city status quo. There may be a threshold for voting out directors but that would be a percentage of the votes cast. I suppose in theory if a dozen people turnup then then they could win the day because SS and his gang have no shares to vote with.

Alfacomp: Perhaps your comments are one of the reasons I am invested. I retain a healthy scepticism of all things until proven, investing in particular.

You are correct in I do have an attitude to many AIM directors. A lot of AIM companies are spinning the plates allowing directors to make a great living while achieving virtually nothing for the company owners.
I hope BMN is not in that group, only time will tell. I am well invested here, if the price of Vanadium is posted I want to know the ups AND the downs.
I've seen posters such as Myosotis (SXX) and Poptheweasel (FLOW) researching every minute detail of the company and their projects. People claiming the CEO has the big picture and knows exactly what he's doing etc. Every nuance of what has been said and not been said only for the business machinations to wreak havoc, the investor totally in the dark until the bitter end. The real world of business is played out in secret, between a few players not the public world of the RNS.
Don't bet your life on a 'cert' it doesn't exist.

You call into question my neutrality ! I was, as my words state, talking of companies in general. I think we all see, especially AIM companies, directors being well rewarded. The buys I have seen are often pathetically small in relation to their salaries and perks.

You've jumped straight into attack mode of a very innocuous general statement, made by someone that has no axe to grind with anyone on this board - so far.

Coffecups and Pdub:
As a neutral observer and as someone that needs to see both sides of an argument, I see CC raising a valid point. I saw no aggression or childishness in CC's posts but the reply by Pdub did resort to that exact same response. I have read this board for some time I do not want selective facts and unfortunately will view Pdub's posts with a little less acceptance of its face value.
