Iceman: This is great suspense and intrigue. It's better than television. My self esteem has risen dramatically as I've discovered how many fools there are. I thought I was dumb. So was it a fighter jet this genius designed or was it meant to read " the fastest development from concept to theatre"

Nothing is ever simple with an In-spirit statement.

I shall check up but as far as I remember there are virtually no new vehicles developed for the army, at least, that have gone into the theatre in this millennium but I'm happy to be corrected

It would seem he is now attempting a record for the slowest product developed from concept to trials.

A record I think he will surely take with ease.

He ran the team, fascinating since the militaries record for development over the last 20 years is detailed in a report and it is worse than abysmal. How did a genius like Paul, certainly the only man to lead such a prestigious project end up working in a back street Sheffield lockup making peanuts for a wage.

After waiting 6 month for the promised Volvo marine application for demonstration, once again the stop watch has been reset but now there is no date given for delivery of the " Volvo Application"next year perhaps ?

Everyone can ramp till they are blue in the face but facts are facts, this company has delivered nothing. The web site is naught but spinning prose and crafted waffle. The RNS - ambiguity personified. A sheep in wolf's clothing.

Incorrect, market makers as the name implies allow the market to function by buying your shares when you sell and there are no buyers or selling you shares when there are no sellers. They are obliged to perform that function.

To be pedantic, yes someone always owns/controls every share but MMs don't really count as retail buyers or sellers. For example they aren't required to issue a TR1 when they pass holding thresholds.

And if I sell 1,000 shares to the MM they could be bought by 10 people that are desperate to buy 100 shares but over a 3 day period. So there is 1 seller and 10 buyers ... eventually!

Magmanus: No one is going to buy out this company, the city knows it is a non-achiever, destined to fail and take with it a load of mug investors.

Could you explain how the Stirling technology removes harmful emissions, by converting heat to electricity, contained in the exhaust gases.

In-spirit talk of the first phase of development. How many phases will there be?

This Volvo application was supposed to be ready for DEMONSTRATION in Q2 AFTER being previously being delayed from Q1.

So far they've blamed shipping agents in Poland and then the war in Ukraine.

As I predicted the next delay is continued development and testing.

The In -spirit Stirling engine, which In-spirit have said themselves forms 65% of the marine application, has an efficiency of 32% and that comes from 6.4 kW produced from 20 kW input, again In-spirits own figures. Then the input to this device must be around 100,000 W. Stand close to a 2 bar electric fire producing 2 kW to appreciate how much heat that is.

If I thought, for one moment, this system was producing 30 kW of electricity I'd be pumping thousands into this company.

This is what is written

Note it says WHR unit and not system, also it states first phase; this could be taken as the first element in the chain that collects the waste heat i.e. a heat exchanger unit - of some sort.

Additionally they state " The WHR is a major component in the application for the Volvo Marine engine"
This again implies WHR in this context is the heat exchanger element.

So the heat exchanger fitted inside the exhaust collects and puts out 30 kW but if the previous is correct then the output is 30 kW of waste heat and not electricity.

Further this element was supposed to be the Helix Accelerator, from previous RNS, but no mention of it nor its exothermic performance.

Simply stating the WHR produced the highest recorded output of 30 kW is meaningless. In fact it would be the highest recorded output because none have been recorded previously - it didn't exist previously.

Magmanus: The applications stated have been known for over 30 years if not more. In-spirit were very slow to jump on the bandwagon. I've just read a paper dated 2012 which assess the use of Stirling engines for WHR from marine diesels.

There are many references to solar, refrigeration and WHR on the internet. There are also companies that are actively involved in those applications which are well ahead of In-spirit.

These are far from new applications and certainly they were not realised by In-spirit.

Of course John Gunn could sweep away all doubts and boost shareholder confidence massively and raise lots of money for the development of his wonder product IF he issued a factually detailed technical account of what the system does and when the promised application will be trialled by Volvo.

It is simple but In- spirit evades this simple approach.

Why does a technology company developing a so called world class product continually produce updates which are evasive, ambiguous and fail to produce what is purported.

The latest RNS is absolutely typical - a WHR major component produces 30 kW.

Why is this so ambiguous, what is the component. What is the 30 kW electrical or thermal.

Since this ambiguity continues I assume that it is deliberate - why ?

Perhaps the so called engineering team and consultants are pathetically incompetent, a theory I don't propose. Perhaps the real truth is far from the spin being produced on this board.
