I assume he's living in a parallel world where they all delivered. The Charger has been certified, is on sale and is being sold across Europe . The Volvo demonstration took place and they have agreed to takeover INSP for £10 a share... Because it is brilliant technology and INSP hold many patents.!!!

He must be so deeply in he cannot bear to hear the truth. An example for all of us not to put your all into one share, no matter how attractive it seems.

It is my opinion that many PI are stupid, gullible and destined to lose their money. They don't seem able to separate common sense from bluster, even when faced with the same options again and again

Sticking to your decisions seems a rather one-way road to travel. I find being able to consider all possibilities and recognise bad decisions more productive.

So when you see the 2008 Disenco Stirling being shown as the WHR Unit what decision do you make?

1. Phimx is lying,the photograph is fake somehow placed on the INSP web site by him

2. The photograph is real but it is the Helix Accelerator but it looks exactly like the 2008 Disenco shown in the 2016 YouTube video, tilted on its side.

I'm curious how do you explain this. You obviously are an independent thinke, unswayed by popular opinion!

That's how real business works but In-Spirit have failed countless times to demonstrate they are a real technology company making a serious effort to produce a world class project

The evidence is in the flop RNS statements going by years, go read they are free to anyone. Flop RNS about setting up an automotive division, solar applications, refrigeration. Flop RNS about Charger Design for Manufacture pumped out for 5 or 6 years. Flop RNS discussions with Gasification company. Flop RNS about certification. Etc. Etc

And of course utter failure to produce a demonstration for Volvo

This is not how real companies produce real products. If you think different go buy a pile of shares

Of course Patent applications could waste more time in the never ending development cycle.

Maidit: Do you think the bodged up 2008 Disenco Stirling engine photographs are going to impress Volvo's research and development staff. Why should anyone pay millions for technology they could copy for peanuts. Patents give you ownership and In-spirit have none.

How stupid do you think Volvo are ?

If they thought the technology was going somewhere they would have bought the company out by now. Volvo has done much research on WHR, including Stirling engines. They have gone for cheaper options.

The Volvo link keeps JG in salary and perks for a few more years.

The Short interest data is reported every 2 weeks or so, according to the dates. The data may be a simple snapshot for free-viewers and could be more comprehensive. It shows - I believe- the number of shares shorted, it also shows the shorting position to be reducing from a maximum at the 15 June 22 when the short figure was 274,712. The % change is simply the change in the short position from the previous report.

It looks like another report will be generated next week which hopefully will show a further reduction but the shorts don't appear to be anything to be concerned about.

Not sure how they arrived at the earlier short data since IES have only just begun trading on this market.

Nothing has changed that the naive small investor knows about! No one is selling off hundreds of thousands of shares on a whim, there is a plan to make money in there somewhere.

The PI is at the bottom of the food chain, we feed everyone with our hard earned!

You also raise good points. Why would anyone loan out there shares ? Undoubtedly there must be institutions and larger holders that do loan out shares, perhaps holders that look to the longer term or holders that are confident in the company. You can be sure they'll have no worries getting those shares back!

But why select a company that has decent prospects and money in the bank unless you are sure there is no good news about to drop soon to mess up your plans. Although I'm not keen on the thought, an organised coupé to grab the company on the cheap springs to mind, e.g. Sirius Minerals, a tasty morsel snatched from the hands of thousands of small investors.

I don't think it's an institutional seller. When companies operate a buy back program they buy random volumes, recently AAL and LLOY have done this and from the volumes it's not obvious it's the company buying.

Applying this principle to selling, why would you signal you are a significant seller and possibly you may have more to sell and thus push the price down further? It makes sense if that is your intention!

My money is on shorting but why? Obviously to make money but why the confidence to short ? This company has a lot going for it and I wouldn't have thought it was an obvious shorting target.
