it varies a lot between brokers, im with AJ Bell and they pay first thing....I remember a few months back some people who were with Barclays Brokers had to wait something like a week or something crazy like that (from a dividend unrelated to BT, but you get the picture).

my understanding is that Guitry is unfortunately dislocated from Ayanouan, in so much as its too far away to transfer the fruits over there from Ayanouan without damaging them too much (I got that info from our old BB friend troublingtimes). So even if they were to max out Ayanouan (that will only happen by getting the nursery producing BTW) they could not move any excess over to Guitry IMO. I guess if they do ever max out at Ayanouan they may increase the capacity further ...........however that is a LOOOOOOOONG way off unfortunately, and I would love to be in that position lol.

The hectarage over at Guitry is potentially much larger than Ayanouan so that could in theory warrant capacity much greater than Ayanouan much further down the line............all ifs and buts, but its excellent potential.

hey RR, you have done a lot more extensive technical checking on the cashew than myself so I cant make further comments other than what you have said. My understanding of it was it was a decent business proposal as the processing capacity in IC is far less than the producing capacity, so sounds like good news. My only negative comment would be cashews are seemingly as climate sensitive as CPO production - just probably in a slightly different way. To some extent this helps as it spreads the climate risk, also a more central location in IC prob helps spread the risk too.

For me Guitry is important, we really need to get that ramped. My main concern though is the initiation of fruit yielding from Ayanouan, once that kicks off we stand a chance of maxing the prod capacity of the mill, and it should be heady days here again.

At the end of the day hopefully a deal is struck and none of us will find out about who can / cant collapse a government over the issue. Failing that, we will all find out early 2019 I guess, carrying on a repeating argument ad infinitum is pointless and boring everyone else on this forum to tears.

Soundbytes in the news last night from barnier actually had me slightly optimistic for some kind of deal. Quite what flavour it would be though is anyone's guess ATM

by all accounts, the laws on AGM's only stipulate the AGM is held within 6 months of the final results........on that basis, despite the fact its over 12 months since the last one, the AGM is not technically late! funny old world!

Anyway why would we get a no deal? Farage, Fox et al where spouting off constantly the EU would be begging us for a deal! According to them it was going to be the easiest deal in history.

yeah I know - both are late. That said, the AGM is currently only about 2-3 weeks late (within the general rule of thumb here), but much longer and its going to be renamed a biannual general meeting !

hey Redroy, good research there! I am in total agreement with your post, however as ive stated before im not convinced DKL can micro manage all the small holdings - there must be hundreds of them, so quite what "best practises" they are using is anyone's guess. However, DKL should be able to manage their own estates when they are mature enough. I'm also pretty certain all the small holdings will be older non hybrid plants, so susceptible to this cycling.

Bear in mind DKL haven't been in business that long, so this could be the first time they have witnessed this cycling - should they have been aware of it before? Yeah id say that's a fair comment, that said as an investor its equally fair to say I should have been as well - and I wasn't. So glass houses and all that.

Good work being proactive in emailing the CEO, its always worthwhile.

The more I trawl through the environmental data, the more I'm convinced it's a red herring and this cyclical tree stress could be the culprit..... if it is that, the million dollar question is how long does it last before trees recover and start the cycle again ? Hmm

This is the first time I've seen this cyclical tree stress quoted outside of DKL - so looks like it could be a real phenomenon (albeit to a lesser extent in golden agri's case)

Hey redroy, the data I collated was weekly, if you search back a month Or two you will find them with week end date, rainfall in mm and avg rainfall in mm.

Balfour just posted pretty good results, I kind of expect us to follow suit.... and yet the SP is being attacked recently. If I continues much further I'll prob top up. Sound bites are the AWPR will be finished shortly except one outstanding bridge, expected to be done October time I think.
