Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
Many thanks Gallmat & Fishcakes for your clarifications. GLA
Thanks Fishcakes - do you know if it is the position that all legal case results, win or lose, have to be the subject of an RNS announcement? TIA, GLA
Aquasulis, fair comment, nevertheless it does seem strange that TW would say “…and probably, in fact I’m pretty certain, another deal too” unless he’d heard something to substantiate this? Maybe this “another deal” possibility is already in the public domain and I’ve overlooked it and then read too much into TW’s comments. GLA
Tom Winnifrith of Share-prophets has broadcast that these 125000 warrants today over at OPTI were his, and he goes on to say that he’s not selling any of them, given that OPTI was his 2022 share tip of the year.
TW also said he’d spoken to Steve O’Hara a couple of times since the New Year.
TW said “I think you going to see some pretty dramatic news coming out of Skinbiotheraputics in the next month about the revenues it is generating from its own psoriasis product and Croda, and probably, in fact I’m pretty certain, another deal too which will see SKIN shares rise to the point where the SKIN shares held by OPTI underpin by a very very good portion of the share price of OPTI”.
Got to say TW seemed very confident in stating all this. Seems possible therefore that TW was making this statement based upon the conversations with Steve Ohara. Is Steve still in touch with SKIN? if he is, then TW maybe picking up on some good vibes that S O is giving off? All if and maybes, but interesting. GLA

Extrader, I for one appreciate yours (or any other posters) legitimate or constructive ‘negative’ comments. If everyone adopted Confoundeds’ policy of not posting anything negative then I think the the general quality of the board would suffer. Not being critical of Confounded as that’s his personal choice and should be respected too. GLA
Zero chance I’d say of seeing the final £1 million (2 x £500k) given it’s dependant on the disposed Company achieving £3 million net profit for each year in 2023 and 2024. Also the other £4 million is dependent on the performance of existing contracts and the cash collection performance from these. Pretty vague on details but the £4 million will be an absolute best case scenario and this could be discounted by a large chunk. There seems to be a danger that the new owners have no incentive to keep costs down and maximise cash collection on the inherited existing contracts, given that any underperformance of these two metrics will merely reduce the amount paid to Kinovo. i.e it is Kinovo who will pay for any inefficient performance and poor cash collection that occurs under the new owners. Having worked in the construction industry for over 30 years I know that it is very common for deals to be done on current contracts whereby the sub contractor will accept a reduced final settlement payment on an existing contract in order to secure the next contract(s). It therefore offers a perverse incentive as it is Kinovo who will be paying for the reduction on the current contracts but the new owners gaining all the future benefit. This offers the new owners an incentive to do such deals.
Goods news on the face of it but I suspect this may be a phrrhic victory financially given the comments made in the RNS on RRR’s likelihood of actually collecting the debt. Does anyone have any knowledge of VUP and their financial standing? (ability to pay). GLA
Recent sell off now nearly reversed. Think this is now set to climb again quite quickly back to high of 130p and then beyond once the market fully works out that lumpy profits are still profits and over a 3/4/5 year period it’s the total returns made to shareholders that matter, rather than a less lumpy even annual amount. Given the potential here, this board is presently very quiet but I’m expecting that to change in the coming year also given how safe an investment LIT represents. Profitable, cash rich, near guaranteed annual sales pipeline etc. GLA
Well done to everyone invested here. All good things come to those who wait. Special thanks to Trek who, unknowingly until now, lead me to this and especially his post of 1/6/21 which flagged up that Malcy said this had the potential to be a 10 bagger. That convinced me this was worth a pop, and Zengas’s multiple comments and research aided greatly as well. I used up a lifetimes luck and invested the next day just 28 minutes before the 1pm suspension! I’m holding here when it re-lists as this must not only be my lucky share but moreover if SAVE had had the potential to be a 10 bagger BEFORE these acquisitions, then where does that leave us now? The CEO said at a recent presentation made in October in Manchester that the Company would not be updating the market on sales figures for a few months after launch as it would be easy to misguide the market without waiting for meaningful numbers to crunched. Therefore not having sales information in today’s RNS is 100% expected, and is totally consistent with his previous comments. GLA
The trades from today (just two so far) and yesterday show much more buying than selling in terms of value (eg there are four trades listed at above £10k and they are all buys totalling circa 64k) yet the share price drifts down or remains stagnant. Strange to say the least. GLA
Thanks Gallmat. I’m just in the middle of looking through some of them. I’m particularly interested in the ones who’s share price as yet hasn’t rallied much recently. I’m surmising the best value lies in in investing in these maybe. When completed this exercise I’ll let you know. GLA
Good news indeed. I subscribe to Stockopedia and LIT appears on their ‘Neglected Shares’ screen based upon an investment strategy devised by two USA professors of finance who wrote a book about this in the 70’s. Basically it’s about finding “under-researched and undervalued” stocks. Their five years of research into this between 1972 and 1976 showed these shares easily outperformed well researched stocks. The Stockopedia list has just 40 names on it and LIT is one. I’ve topped up today before the words get out. DYOR & GLA
