Yep all looks good in the 'hood as someone once said. Orders exceed capacity is the interesting comment...and a bit of vigorous IP infringement protection action.
All looks set fair.

...and halfway from the start of the year to my $75 tgt. Interesting to see every US investment bank now banging on about super commodity cycles...time for a simple mathematical exercise, we haven't had one for a day or 2.
JOG has a market cap of £51mm and £22mm shares outstanding.
There has been a lot of talk, especially on the Other Board of much fewer barrels of oil than the experts at Schlumberger and Rockwell suggest...so let's cut Buchan in 1/2. So 85mm barrels of oil 'only' and none in any of their other prospects. Zero. Zilch. Rien. Buchan is the only oil bearing region in all of JOG's prospective area (odds small to almost impossibly unlikely but I'm sure we can find a Geologist who might tell us its normal!). So lwe have just have 85mm barrels of oil. Lets give our would-be future partner 90% of our oil reserves to help us build the project and provide the funding so we now only own 10% of our now severely depleted reserves...eg 8.5mm barrels. At $75, = $382.5mmof 'value' to JOG or 5x what our market cap is (using $/£ at 1.5).
Get the point? All you investors in JOG, you own probably the most operationally geared Oil co in the planet. I can think of no other where your fortunes are so inextricably linked to a commodity which is at the start of a major bull run. if we rally on good news of farmouts or concept select, just remember you've held these shares when OIl went -ve (temporarily). You should try and hold the shares in case OIl goes to $100 or beyond!! Lecture over. Enjoy!

30p in 6 months! Ooooof that’s a helluva target! I think you are relying on IP wins vs Tesla for that. i fear the pure profit numbers themselves wouldn’t support said valuation ....End of Q2 next year ...not impossible by then we will have a much clearer idea of future Capex plans on whether we need a new factory should these phone / e-peas and auto orders demand it. Fyi AK in town in results day and there’s an investor call. Will keep you posted.

Havent posted on here for a while - like all in for the long haul. It is staggering stuff that stroke video. Patience is going to be the virtue here, but nice to be trading 50p above the raise and generic volumes seem quite high. Its my big '33-1 Grand national outsider' this one....the real skill will be in holding once it starts to move and not selling too early. The other Bio I am heavily involved in RENALYTIX shows how these things can suddenly be flavour of the month with their Nasdaq listing truly giving it a shot in the arm. Frequently, it does nothing in UK, then US buyers move it 10%. At some stage, it might be a way for Reneuron to go especially if its research its going that way? VK - here’s a thought. Why would raising £5mm say thru a share placing at what £2 / share be anything other than excellent news for JOG if that’s the route down which they choose to tread? I doubt the SP would blink.
Equally if they have a few cash rich suitors knocking on their door they might say X% and £5mm gets you the golden egg! All is complete conjecture - but i think the recent rally has the feel of some real optimism and support. Unsurprising, given the riches in store!

Indeed Parge - plenty of those sort of numbers in the air...I still like harking back to what stirred the initial price rise in JOG all those years ago...it was the hope that the 17.5% interest they held in Verbier might yield c 20mm barrels of oil....and I think we reached £4/share...yet tell people we have 8x that amount and we trade 50% lower....and the oil price is higher than it was...so we can sleep easy in the knowledge that there is considerable value here...as I have written before, if you want to go for blue sky valuations, how about a $70 oil price and 300mm barrels of oil in total, given its hard to believe Verbier, Verbier dep, and all other prospects have no recoverable oil in them...$30/ barrel recovery cost...thats a big ole number!
Nice try by the market makers to try and force some sellers with that early fade to 2.18...

I don't think he was that optimistic...£42 was his number! It feels like someone loading up here for sure - whether ahead of a concept select announcement of even just because we are really very absurdly valued, who knows. BUt its a good day for sure.

Yep POO $13 higher since start of the year...whats that 13x 170...$2,2bn in value accretion for JOG's Buchan assets....with FX at 1.40 that's a mere £71/share increase...still we've seen the SP double this year so its a start....who knows I hope its making Mr Benitz's job a whole lot easier in those up n coming farm-out negotiations....might be more than one chap banging on the door if they can do the maths...

I don't show my complete hand? Christ on a bike, i tell you when i buy (most recently 10p, 9p and 8,2p), when I sell (most recently 13 and 14.4p)...i told you I bought more 1.8p when the world was ending, I told you about the cap raise at 8.5p and 3p...what do you want? Inside leg measurements?
For full colour, as I told the company today I still own between 1.5% and 2% of the company. So plenty of shares. I have more skin in the game than most and a desperate desire to see it succeed, it will be life changing for me if I am right. so please, give me a break - I admit my call at 7.30 was completely wrong. I thought we would rally 50% oin that news. But, if you read the cautious research response and some of the more 'measured' posters on here, you can see why - maybe - the SP didn't react in the way we (I) thought it might. Time for a glass of red.

Thank you - it was a tough ride to 1.8p - yes the all time low purchase for me - ...all I'm saying Iwgrod is - I read the RNS report this am and thought - wowzer that's gonna knock the ball out of the park. And I agree with your comments re the outlook - but the market has been promised the sunlit uplands by Mr Kongats before and we have been scarred. So the bounce from 3p to 14p has priced in - If I understand the market right :
execution risk of the Murata manufacturing transfer from Kobe to Sydney - tick
in a global pandemic - tick
and full transfer of Murata's clients and orders - tick
Outstanding settlement of IP infringement - nope
Potential in i-phones and automotive - show me the money
Can you grow the business and how can you afford to - and this is the multi-million pound question. Can little ole CPX run a growing manufacturing business when its never done this before?
I remain hugely optimistic but I certainly don't begrudge the Newlands for taking a 4-bagging profit when all the above probably need answering in the affirmative to get to the 20p + party.

I've re-read the research report again - CPX's year end is June 30th (to be clear). Its abundantly clear to me that the house broker is optimistic but not wildly so (like AndyLou) so we can hang our hats on the headline grabbers smart fones / automotives and potential litigation) but the analyst and the market, by the look of it, is saying good stuff but no need to upgrade forecasts (just reinstating them) until we have a 'show me the money' situation. I thought we'd have broken 14p today afetr those headlines, but consolidation now likely until furtehr clarity given (end of month)...

That's a very fair comment Kencarv - and no doubt that the move in SP from 3p to 14p was driven by said optimism. BUt I think as one poster said they delivered a pretty decent result for last year and its all steam ahead this year. If it dips, then I,'ll put my money where my mouth is and just buy more...

I think its spectacular. I think the market will view it as such. 100% growth, love the name dropping of 'smart phones' and 'automotive' - as expected 2021 will be the year of deliverance. I would be very suprised if this does not go down veyr well with the market. Market cap just £57mm.

Yep...$10 this year. Worth a princely $1.7bn to JOG and its assets. Still its market cap has gone up 50% from £26mm to £41mm.

that I tend not to look at the posted buys and sells...I lied...interesting 90k trade print at 1.85...I have a feeling that is a buy and was the mopper up of all those trades of the past few days. I gather on the rumour runway that a new broker is taking an interest in JOG and trying to get 'in on the act'....we'll see. A good week for JOG and its 'long-suffering' shareholders tho with the SP back up at £1.90 maybe we can take the 'suffering' bit out and replace with 'and quietly optimistic'....long and quietly optimistic shareholders...yes that sounds about right!

Abatt - there is the clue - exactly what u said. Enquest's SP down because they are raising 50mm in addition to the debt. But here is the rub...and I know I bang on for which many apologies...'they paid way too much'....by what metric? Maybe the cost of buying proven reserves is going up because the POO is going up and there is less of it about today because production has fallen off a cliff globally this last year? I can think of no more important piece to the whole JOG jig saw than this. And I'm delighted that 'those sells' of which there would appear to have been plenty have been met with the market maker ticking the bid up a penny. There's a buyer in the wings.

Poortiming - wihtout being too rude, you get the prize for pointing out the bleedingly obvious!! A company with a resource base of 170 million barrels and producing would need to be in pretty poor shape to have a market cap of just £30mm or whatever ours is.
This is the multi-million (actually I think billion is more pertinent) pound bet. But I've banged on enough.
