I think we are - to a man and woman - all thoroughly bored with a SP stuck at 8p...and i completely understand why anyone is disappointed with AK or the company...my only point is in the absence of any IP wins i’m not sure what anyone is hoping for in terms of increased revenues unless we grow the production capability? Which i hope we will do via debt borrowing later this year if indeed these orders translate into the need to do so! Thus why Allenby say at the end of each report ‘no change to targets!’

With so many doubts - caused absolutely by an underwhelming SP - I’m intrigued why you remain invested? FOMO is never the best reason for investment!!

JamesH - just reverting back to your comments re upsides and downsides of CPX - I am intrigued to understand who you think is responsible for :
Negotiating the Murata deal
Fighting all or any IP breaches to the very best of the company's ability at whatever cost it takes?
Winning contracts
Developing the best in class IP
Having the vision in the first place to understand where I-o-T fits into the world of semi conductors and batteries.

I think you do AK a great disservice. You are invested here because you think this company has what it takes to make you money. The man with the brains and vision behind CPX is AK, so i think you should pay him some respect for without him, there would be no CPX!

As for your laughable comment re market makers - they are not out to get you as your paranoia implies. They are a function of creating a market place for buyers and sellers to transact. The SP at 8p is - as I'm afraid I have said a few times - about right for the expected profitability of the company given what we currently understand. Should we get court victories with ££ payouts vs Maxwell and Ioxus actually pay the money they owe, then both will provide considerable headroom for future expansion. But it is telling that the current broker has not changed estimates on the base of the contract wins because, for now, there is no evidence it will lead to improved cashflow.
I'm afraid you will just have to understand the value of patience and hope that the positives that you list are all accurate.

I'm trying to see when I first invested in Reneuron. I think it was c 2013 but I may be out by 1-2 years either way! Luckily it wasn't at the very highs. The point of this msg is to remind that in this world of clinical adventure - to parpahrase Star Trek boldly going where no man has gone before - I had no idea that it would take quite so long for game-changing news to appear. The great rally in 2019 which looked like we were finally starting on our journey has been replaced by the steady drip lower followed by the 70p cash raise earlier this year. However, it seems to this particular idiot, for that is what I am for investing here for the last umpteen years, is the outlook is brighter than it ever has been and the bank a/c has plenty of ££ in it. I like the look of the appointments, the ongoing clinical trial results and the careful stake building. The only question I have for fellow long sufferers is timing! is 2021 the year? Or will we be typing on here in 2025 wondering if we are close to the final break through? I wish you all luck and if anyone has a potential timetable of 'forthcoming news' I'd love to see it.

Again its pretty simple this share. Current market cap £37mm. Expected earnings this coming year c $14mm = c £10mm. That's cheap for a manufacturing company let alone for one with the leading IP in the I-o-T world. Throw in potential IP gains from Ioxus n Maxwell and at these levels you are buying shares in a company that will, over the next few years be in a considerably stronger space. The problem is 95% of the people on this board possess absolutely no patience and want the potential 25p TODAY. All this talk of Jam tomorrow is nonsense. The Jam is starting to flow today and will continue to do so. Or go buy Tesla on a PE of 700x...

James - when you ask about supporting the share price - what do you mean exactly? Despite what you have seen in the US over the past year or 2, most shares need real numbers to support a rising share price. Kongats and co cannot magic those numbers out of thin air I'm afraid...he can't make the numbers up. He can't say Ebitda will be X if its going to be 1/2 X. He has been incredibly consistent in his view that CPX's IP is best in class, and can be used in an abundance of applications. Why do you think 13th may 2021 will be the day when he will tell you the sunlit uplands are here. we know the numbers for 2021. Allenby keep talking about them - no reason to review despite new contracts? Why? because we are at full capacity. So I'm at a loss to understand why you continue to expect something different? And whoever is selling feels the same and thinks there are better opportunities elsewhere.
I personally dont agree and think in 3-5 years when capacity has been grown, ideally out of debt as the company starts to use leverage we can see a substantially higher SP - but the only catalyst I can see for that to happen in the v near future is either a decent IP win or a larger company saying CPX is too cheap - which would be mighty irritating.

Good to see a little volume go through. Would quite like to see a break and hold above £1.80 from a technical stand point. But with £20m of cash in the bank and - remind me £10m of DTAs - and a market cap of £50m there isn’t a huge amount of downside from here notwithstanding the concerted effort - mostly on the other board - to affect sentiment!

Becoming wealthy? Not sure little ole CPX has done that for any of us yet :-)

Agreed ALGU - I have just bought 15k at 153....its rather depressing to have got OIL so completely right and to have - so far - backed the wrong horse! As anyone who cared to read the witterings of this idiot - me - I was looking for oil this year at $80....looks like we are nearly there. next year $120. Saudi needs oil at $80 just to break even on its budget and US shale simply not able to rebuild.
JOG's oil - if it can ever sign a farm out - should cost $30/barrel. We've done the sums ad infinitum but I cannot believe - and have invested plenty - that we will not see a farm out agreed with such a favourable back drop. if you ahd to ask AB what he'd want for the perfect scenario he'd want

OIl at $70 or higher - tick
A carbon neutral footprint to appease the Greta-fans - tick

...to the industry buyers of our technology....never heard of Jack but I do like the continuous stream of uses. There was some chatter on these pages last week about increasing production needs...I think this is going to be a very lovely problem for Kongats and co...i do hope they can build the next production facility using very cheap debt and get some leverage into the system. Onwards and hopefully upwards..

TD - re Degiro that sounds like a their problem not a you problem. Unless you buying CPX using huge leverage i’m surprised they can be too exposed to the SP!

Interesting isn't it Abatt1...They will most definitely be overpaid if no farm out...and they'll be the brightest stars in the firmament if they achieve what they are trying to and the shares hit £10...then all will be forgiven. I will say one thing on matters re remuneration. Officers of a listed company have to have a remuneration committee. And they have to get shareholder approval to award themselves the salaries and bonuses / options. More fool us if we don't like what they do and don't vote against it? And before you say big money in cahoots, A) they really are not and B) this share is mainly in the hands of the you's and I's...so we really only have ourselves to blame if we don't like it and don't do anything about. Equally, you can sell now and get the 'hell out of dodge' if it really is a concern - not meant as a criticism but you are a holder here (and have been for some time) for a reason. Only you will know what 'red flags' you need to keep an eye out for when you make an investment.

Nothing to add JamesH....at the presentation, I did ask about increased manufacturing capability and he said that they had room to grow in the Sydney plant...and that Malaysia was not firing on all cylinders as they had had difficulty in recruiting staff. So I'm pretty sure that there wont need to be a capital raise as I would expect the next plant, should we need one (I do hope we do!) would be funded by debt. Mr Kongats seems to be doing a pretty decent job here methinks.

Oiler - i think if you go back in time - the project here is expected to be enormous...and is planning to be a hub in the CNS for all surrounding oil fields...so whilst the hope is for the platform to be a carbon neutral producer, i think the bigger story here is not just about Buchan...thus why no FPSO....

The squabbling below highlights what an unpleasant board here and on ADVFN has become when discussing the outlook for JOG. It seems the bears of whom there are plenty take vicarious delight in any sign the SP might slip - more than i have seen in any other share traded on Aim. Not sure why that is - whether scars from old Trap oil (some never move on!) or a rather more worrying concerted effort behind the scenes to coordinate an attack on the company to ensure smaller private investors who - idiotically in my view - rely on websites like this to inform them of their investment decisions. Quite why anyone would invest their hard earned ££ after reading nonsense written by this idiot (me) or VK or TheShen is beyond me! Even the legendary Dick seem to have the ability to cast a spell over his audience- to be clear our parents and theirs before them fought for free speech. That doesn’t mean we have to agree with it and whilst we’d all love to have everyone on here and Advfn waxing lyrical about Jog’s future, modern society simply doesn’t listen to niceties.
Right - where were we? Equity raising done, we r diluted ...my SP target sadly has to be revised down from £24 to £16 but there we go that’ll be enough for Tommy Ajax me and a few others to raise a glass to Dicks good health. GLA and take it a little less seriously.

There’s a village somewhere that seems to have lost its idiot....

Of all the ridiculous posts I have read on this board, this one just about takes the biscuit...so I must assume / hope spoken in jest.
It seems to have escaped the mind - the board do not take salaries...they get paid in shares...and I'm guessing need to have some cash to live...just a thought.
