As ever with the fun and games in AIM, I have tried to buy a reasonable slug of stock at £1.80 today and got less than 1/2 done and offers evaporated. Does make me wonder if someone trying to move the shares down in v thin markets - to what end, I have no idea. As ever, thoroughly enjoy the commentary on this board, led by the peerless and well informed @trekmalone! Buy 'em when well offered and sell 'em when well bid, I was always told!

Let me ask you a question Dive - Mr Benitz is - I imagine - speaking to a variety of different and interested parties at the moment in the hope of securing a deal that will irreversibly change the fortunes of his company, his life and the lives of a few of us who have raided the depths of our piggy banks. Do you truly believe the value of Jog and all its assets are in no way affected by the move in oil from $20 at its lows last year to north of $75 yesterday? A carbon neutral $30/barrel cost producer with the most unbelievable gearing is doing the rounds when oil is heading into its first ever period in history when demand will outstrip supply. Yes the first time ever. The risk for oil is not that it gets to $100 but that it doesn’t stop there.

I was just about to type....the overnight move in OIL alone is worth almost 5x JOG's mkt cap...if you simply multiply $ move ($2) by number of barrels apparently there in Buchan = $360mm! Dick, we're about to find out and like you I also have been buying what I think are the most undervalued shares I have ever seen. Equally, it'll be a trip to the pauper's house if it has just been an illusion, as Imagination once sang.

And more to the point - when they published the last set of accounts - gross margins were 59% and expected to rise as more production done in house...doesnt sound loss making to me?

Good q...whats the saying...'the beatings will continue until confidence recovers!'...Mr Griffiths has added another % in the fall which probably helps and as others have said, the news whilst unhelpful probably unimportant. The company remains deeply undervalued compared to what's going on in the space, but until they can show some sense of urgency on the commercial front, we might need to remain extremely patient!

James - the point of my msg this morning was exactly that. There is no huge value in these contracts because if there were they would have to guide as such. What we - the shareholders - are being urged to think about is the growing subscriber base for the IoT usage. So i think you will be disappointed if you expect a huge uptick in profit...

Better lucky than good AFISH. Its helped Tullow rather more than JOG - so far! It is an absolute game changer for JOG, I truly believe that. Even with oil at $50, the economics looked 1/2 sensible. Oil 50% higher makes the proposition a little more relevant, shall we say. To the tune of $5bn ($25 x 200mm barrels) - still its great we have a market cap of £50mm.

...that CPX is telling us - the shareholders - that it is finding a multitude of users of its I-o-T products. I'm not sure they are saying - as they are not producing any numbers to go with the contracts - that these are life-changing contract wins but the dots are all there to be joined up. Its been a long journey, but I remain steadfast in my belief that we are finally en route.

or is quite a bit of stock being traded? Wish i could understand why you hold this stock for so long then sell it as we enter month 4 of the 4-8 we were specifically guided to as being the Farm out period! And With oil at $72.5?! Mmmm!

Finally an upgrade! We take this opportunity to introduce FY22 and FY23 forecasts with substantial revenue growth as well as nudging up our FY21 forecasts and introduce a fair value of 16.5p/share, equivalent to 12x FY23 EV/revenue.

Why smoke and mirrors? What has he promised you? Has the company said 'James, we'll give you a full trading update in June?'...can I politely suggest you turn the screen off, open a bottle of rose and enjoy the weather?! There is no news incoming for the foreseeable future that will change the investment thesis. Unless of course there is news of an IP settlement or otherwise if an out of court settlement has been reached. Otherwise, I imagine Mr Kongats will be busily running the company as he has done for the past umpteen years.

I wrote some nonsensse a while back - opining JOG is probably the most operationally geared OILCO out there. When I was politely suggesting oil might reach $70-$80 (and got no little abuse for that view), I wasn't expecting it to be in the middle of JOG's farm-out chats. Just to remind :
Cost of extraction c $30/barrel.
Carbon neutral footprint
Each $ of oil > $50 (certainly) implies an increase of c $150m-$200m in JOG's NAV.
We are now $22 above that $50 level.
Numbers are becoming ridiculous.
Think I'm gonna have to buy some more shares.

Who are you and what have you done to that irritating poster?? - There is some quite good volume going thru / no idea who is buying or selling but as the French Croupier might say ‘Faites vos jeux’...or place your bets. It’s hard to see a more binary bet. 5-10x upside or 75% downside (cash less running cost)...

You need to be a better forensic accountant than me however cost of a new facility is c £50mm i believe ...so if they want to grow the business and the order book continues to build then i think with margins >50% it makes every sense to borrow at these current v low level of interest rates to capture that demand. I don’t believe the Malaysian facility and the Sydney one can do the job.

Question - does RDSB selling their up stream division to another owner change the amount of carbon emissions for the world to worry about? Of course not. What helps is have a zero carbon footprint...which JOG promises....always 2 sides to a tale.

Just me thinking out loud...with Royal dutch ordered to cut emissions by 45% by 2030...which little oil co plasn to have zero carbon emissions and has made a great song and dance about this? i think JOG has just become a whole lot more attractive and don't forget - cutting emissions is very +ve for the long term oil px. Just wonder whether Mr Benitz might have a little extra spring in his step today?
