You can't underestimate the positive influence of being able to buy obviously cheap shares in a British icon... and loads of us usually too busy to play around in the stock market suddenly have time to. This is why I'm here ha!

Yup. I don't think the DBX will be quite an Urus match success wise... it's not the first of a new gen like the Urus, and is lacking the same performance. But it will make a huge impact still. As happened with the Urus - every brand advocate with an Aston already in the garage, will be looking at the DBX as their daily.
Limited production has really helped the Urus too - they're still selling 6-8 months old at or very near list price! As there is still a 12 month wait list for them. They make 3000 Urus a year and sold 5400 I believe in the first year. That'll do it!

Yup - if DBX does for AML even a fraction of what Urus did for Lamborghini - it will be something special.

Brands like Aston have so much emotion attached, you can't just look at graphs.
No way am I selling until this recovers to where it should be. If that takes a year or more, so be it.

I'm not so sure... there will be too much to talk about - finally getting to see what the cars this year are capable of, about the virus, races with no fans, straight into driver contract silly season, months worth of activity concertina'd into the summer period IF they get back racing. I don't think there will be much more than a nod towards 2021 and AML becoming a team name, until late this year. But then that coincides with Bond hitting the cinemas, DBX hitting the roads.... it should be awesome!

You're forgetting about DBX... both in the huge investment they will have made in recent years to create it... and that it's sales revenue effect havent hit yet. Every Aston owner will want one to sit alongside their sports car, as they did with the Lamborghini Urus which catapulted their sales overnight and havent slowed down. 18months on with the Urus there is still a 12 month lead time on orders - and still low mileage used are selling a year old at near list!
Not that I like the DBX myself I might add.... but many will.
