The only figures I've seen regarding the F1 deal, is a 10 year deal at around $20 mill - which would be jaw droppingly cheap exposure! Obviously with Stroll heading both AML and the F1 team.... this is logical. And far closer to a bargain than hugely expensive.

SP won't be anywhere near 309p mid June.... I would expect it to rise gradually over the coming month as the world starts to return to some semblance of normal fuel/oil usage.

Some people haven't been buying at 30p - DYOR.
To be able to buy shares at 30p, you first had to buy at a much higher price. Effective actual price when averaged out is something like 64p.

I've not read that - but I could easily believe it - they've had to invest massively in the DBX, a totally new production line very different to anything they have had before. But there is a huge difference between 'spent all the money' and INVESTMENT! An investment that is very shortly to be realised now, when most Aston brand advocates and sportscar owners want a DBX to go shopping in. Just as happened with Lamborghini - 18months after release of the Urus there's still a 1yr wait list for one. Which means they're selling at list price still for a year old used model, which in turn means that money savy petrol heads are seeing it as an even more attractive purchase. Same will be for AML.... patience.

Yes exactly... that's product development. And won't be the whole story. I've heard very similar stories from friends at McLaren Auto - not in a disparaging way, that's just how it happens sometimes. Unless you're German maybe ;o)

They don't just 'take it private' if that is indeed what they're working on.... a price to buy our shares off us is agreed. Which will be at a price way above where it looks like most of us are invested, especially considering the price level Wolff chipped in at. Very little to worry about.

Fair point! And 100%, I'll be jumping on planes as soon as I'm allowed to, my business is based around F1, and the US is my biggest market. I'm more concerned what BA are going to do to maintain my gold membership without meeting the usual frequency requirements ha!

Leisure travellers will be far less keen to fly, and prices will be far higher as less routes.... short-medium term.

Most intrigued from that around your logic with Boeing @investinvalue.... surely they're screwed long term with the global collapse in aviation, huge numbers of nearly new planes being resold to the surviving carriers?

Well in the red here - but so confident it will win medium term. I can never bring myself to sell at a loss, would rather just leave it sat there until it eventually turns around.
Had some quick wins in the last week with BP, SHI, CNA - balances out nicely.

In the current manic-depressive market as you say - if you make a mistake and buy too high, as long as you can sit on your hands for a few days/weeks, it's bound to come round.
Selling just before it rockets is more annoying!

@TheSmiler Sales for the DBX are going to come from every brand advocate with an Aston sports car currently sat on the drive.
Same as it did for Lamborghini when everyone questioned the Urus... 30% up in year 1, and still 1 years waiting list for one!
Similar sized companies and output.
