I've heard murmurings this morning, from folk that generally know these things.... that Vettel may be replacing Perez at Aston Martin F1 next year.... that will be a VERY positive thing for publicity! Especially as the Mercedes copy chassis they designed for this year (which will carry over to 21) looks very fast.

Yup everything I have is well in the red today straight away, AML isn't the worst.

The UK furlough scheme really is phenomenal, when used in the right way.

Anyone who sees sales figures of any business in the world right now, as indicative of their future worth, should not be a trader.

Absolutely everything is up in the air massively - policies to cope with Covid are vastly different from country to country, brand to brand. Some are trying to sell remotely, most simply not bothering especially in the UK where near all car sales staff are furloughed. Which from a cost/turnover perspective, could well be the most sensible thing to do. Someone planning to buy an Aston doesn't go buy a Ferrari because the dealer is shut... they wait.

Again interpreting with a different perspective.... If Aston flops we still have shares in an extremely valuable brand name. And any buyout will be way above the SP that it seems most of us here are invested.

The high end dealers I am close to are absolutely flat out, despite showrooms still being closed.... you clearly have zero clue about this market.
I sold my car last week 9 months old for exactly, to the penny, for what I paid for it. You can't do that in a subdued market!! Muppet.

@GingerHippo I guess the only thing that might fit with what you describe would be if last years debt was something huge, like building a whole new car plant or something. And the only chance of a rapid turnaround would be a brand new model with a full order book!
