Ok - so the last article I read makes more sense;

The logic that Mercedes may increase their investment in AML, in return for Stroll receiving controlling shares of Maercedes F1 team - and running that with Stroll.

That's all logical.

What I can't get my head around is what that would mean for Racing Point F1 team which is also owned by Stroll's consortium, and due to be branded Aston Martin next year. Does Stroll really want two F1 teams? The cost of running two Aston Martin F1 branded teams is unlikely to be worth the increase in exposure over the cost/workload to run one (the best) team.

Yeah I'm not going with that one @Brooko19.... Lewis will retire soon - and at the moment he has his lifetime as Mercedes brand ambassador ahead of him. It would be EXTREMELY short sighted to do anything to dampen that.

Indeed cars! I've said to Lamborghini bods many times that they really really should have put their V10 in an Urus - it would be absolutely mind blowing!

Their response is 'driveability' of the V8.... which I don't believe. More like the cost implications.... and that they're on an absolute winner with the Audi platform and drivetrain share. Profit margins must be huge! The Urus Evo in 2022 will still have a V8 apparently.

Personally I see the Bentley as a competitor to Range Rover sport. DBX slots in between that and the Urus.
It's a shame IMHO that the DBX doesnt challenge the performance of the Urus.... perhaps that will come in a subsequent V10 variant.

I know several of Lambo clients who bought a Bentayga when that was the only option, then an Urus when that came out.
IMO there will be a huge uptake on the DBX by loyal Aston sports car buyers.

Nothing goes up in a straight line.... just those who jumped in for a short term win over the last week cashing out.

Many thanks @manicman182, I can concur with your sentiment.... I just follow the ethos of investing mainly in businesses I actually know about - I wouldn't have a clue otherwise! Love an educated gamble tho.
