With the rights issue that I read they contributed fully to, without anything additional going on that averages them at £2.24.
They're not going to have parted with that many shares at a loss....

There were a couple of fairly meaty £10k-50k manual buy's in there then, just had a looksee.

Yup loaded up at 29p, 34p, 53p, 54p. Initially bought in at 68p....but more than happy with where I'm averaged at 46p.

Could he be contractually required to sell his shares is he's leaving the company - presuming that he received them in the first place as part of a remuneration package?

Just called my Lambo dealer mate as i was bored....
He has 7 handovers today, sold 10 cars last week in appointment only viewings. As i suspected.... 3 months business concertinering up.

No reason why Aston dealers won't be similar.

I wouldn't be surprised if cars working their way through production weren't able to be delivered.... there could be a backlog for deliveries.

Dealers closed the doors with zero notice, Gaydon will have wound down slowly, probably making sure to complete any car they'd already started.

I think demand will be immediate, it won't need a ramp up. As soon as dealers open (today) there will be a flood.

3 months without being able to buy cars - many have set plans/timescales for swapping cars around. We could well see that 3 month cessation squeezed into a few weeks. Logically...

Strictly speaking factories were allowed to be open yes.... but politically, most had to close for fear of a very public backlash.

And yes... AML are using the very useful furlough scheme as a (relatively) cheap way to pause production, clear dealer stocks and create demand - and at the same time perhaps avoiding costly short term distancing measures they'd have to implement if opening production sooner.

Clever stuff if you ask me, making the best of a bad situation.

IMHO... it's either that.... or Stroll and Wolff are buying Mercedes F1 together with an increased AML share percentage to Daimler as part of the deal.
Whatever happens with Wolff... I think it'll be good for us.

It's looking like F1 crew only at Silverstone dammit... I'd be surprised i can get in myself. I think I may be at the 2nd weekend in Austria, undercover ;o)

I've tried @WHITEGHOST trust me - I've purposely involved myself partnering with events at the Grand National, I took a whole box at Cheltenham a few years ago to try and 'get it'. Nope!

Ironically the fact I live in Cheltenham doesn't help.... having to avoid town the whole of race week, and the leprechaun's who jump on your bonnet at every set of traffic lights. Literally.

I suspected this a week ago @paulobento27.... but hadn't heard of Mazepin's (F2 driver) father interest to buy Racing Point from Stroll.... that lines the dominoes up perfectly.

Joining the dots..... I believe;

Stroll sells Racing Point to Mazepin
Stroll and Wolff buy Mercedes F1 - and brand as Aston Martin next year, with Lewis and Vettel in the cars.
Part of the deal may be more AML shares for Daimler - deepening their involvement.
Mercedes continue to supply F1 engines to those teams they already supply - hence their only recent statement 'we are committed to F1' still being accurate.

None of this is fact - just joining up hunches. Mercedes F1 management have been VERY quiet in recent weeks on topics they really need to be talking about.

Depends when the BIG news hits centered around Mercedes F1.... I believe it's coming ;o)

Stroll buys Mercedes F1 with Wolff - part exchange with some more AML shares to Daimler (another + for SP)
Leverages AML sponsorship with the World's best team... and Lewis will stay there is Wolff does.
Mercedes keep saying 'we are committed to F1'... and they still will be on the engine supply side
