This is the main point GHOST... Lambo don't do discounts! They don't need to when demand outstrips supply. The direction that AML are heading in with the revamped business model.

Spoke to my friendly Lambo dealer a couple of days ago, said he'd never handed over as many cars as planned next couple of weeks!

Demand for high end cars hasn't disappeared - it's just been difficult to buy. So now there is 3 months of demand backed up all trying to come through at the same time.... logically. If an Aston owner planned to change your car around now, they're still planning to change their car around now. Nothing has changed.

Comparing other automotive companies is completely pointless... you may as well compare with Sainsbury's, it's about as useful.

In what part of anything anywhere does volume not have a direct correlation with workforce required? This is the WHOLE POINT of reduced volume for increased profit!!

It will @mildtodger..... I wager there will be very little drop in luxury car sales this year as a whole - its just that no-one could buy in a lockdown! China sales have already shown this. But you only want to talk the negative.

My buisiness is in exactly the same segment as AML, luxury automotive. I had one of my best ever months in May. There is no real contraction.
