Looking strong IMO considering a miserable market this morning....

Markets tend to like job cut news though.... I'm expecting more rises today.

The justification in the rise is easy..... in that it was hugely undervalued at the bottom.
We all said this on the way down.... and are still saying it on the way up.

I do think that now we are close to fair value for the where the company is right now.... and yes I'm a bit nervous about how fast SP has risen. That doesn't tend to bode great, despite it being more a correction, than a rise IMO.

But the strong resistance around the 80p several periods yesterday I think will mean this is our baseline to build from as changes take effect in the business.

I looked at FOXT earlier @Investor240421.... i didn't think there was much head room for another rapid rise... compared to other opportunities currently, just MHO.

Yup... you're always gonna get a retracing after starts like that as it attracts the day traders jumping in for a quick buck. Top of the FTSE climbers all day weren't we?

My thoughts would be that if Lance noticeably underperforms, and costs the team in the championship table ie loses the team prize money.... he'll be out of a drive no matter who he is. Perhaps with the sweetener of a role in the team to build him up to a management position.

Yup.... front to the back of the grid is only a few 10ths per lap - bonkers! In Senna's day there was often 2-3 sec a lap difference in just the front row.

Race craft though... is another thing. Lewis has gotten even stronger with experience - less impatient, less mistakes.

Yup - I just pulled 10k out from other stocks that were boring me as not moving, plug back in here for compound growth.

Yup - sporadically Lance has matched Perez - who on his day is an awesome driver.
Being at the sharp end of the grid will focus his mind somewhat.... but also intensify the scrutiny.

Lewis would never, ever, jump ship from the fastest car on the grid....

IMO Lance Stroll has one season max to prove himself if indeed the Racing Point proves to be a podium contender - daddies boy or not. Ifthat car is quick, it'll make or break his career.

F1 is one of those things - the more you put in, the more you get out of it.

Yup! They were looking seriously fast in Barcelona testing too.... I was there with McLaren and they were certain Racing Point were ahead of them, maybe Red Bull too. Best bit is that because of Covid, the 2021 aero reg change has been delayed a year. So their initially very costly investment to completley re-design the car just for one year, will pay off double, and for us next year!
