Whereas I don't disagree with much of your point @iIVvestor.... since when does a SP need financial analysis to move up and down? And SP (especially this one) can move 20% on nothing but a rumour!!

Regardless of what the intracies are, it's just semantics.

The buy/sell volume IS an accurate sentiment regarding the stock - after all, that is the only reason for posting it, and the only reason for taking notice in it. The actual number is unimportant to us at our level.

You're looking at the wrong shares then @Norbertinho.... the first thing I'm looking for right now is for stocks well below their recent ceiling - then try and understand why that is. Nothing in my portfolio has less than 50% of headroom.

I'd actually say that AML is one that has caught up a lot now to where it should be.... the graphs on the face of it don't tell the truth at a glance, because of the share dilution at the same time as the Covid drop.

In a way, around now is a good time to be playing in shares and learning without too much risk you're going to lose everything - because so many shares have plummeted mainly because of Covid, are undervalued right now yet can't really fall much further. So even if in the negative, it'll more than likely come back around at some point.

But relax. Swings of even 10% with little known reason is nothing to worry about on it's own.

If you'd been in here for a bit longer than 24hrs you'd know not to panic.... these swings happen near every day in here. There is a comparatively low number of shares in circulation - most are tied up with long term investors - so the SP is volitile.

Why?

I'm convinced that this sell started going through since early yesterday... hence the 15p plummet over the next hour, logically.
The 87p offer price would indicate 8.15am.

I believe it's been fed into the market - not gone straight to a big fish, and we've already seen the impact.

@Investor2210's opinion is that insightful that he thinks IPO is a stock code....

That huge sale is listed at 87p.... so called at the high of the day just after open, logically.

I take this then as the reason for the 15p plummet over the following hour as MM's try to find buyers for it.

So we've already taken the hit. And good to know the reason!

They'd have to declare that kind of volume surely?

That many can't have been sold into the market CC, thats a couple of whole days worth of volume.
