Technically, Aston Martin won't have any involvement or input into the F1 team. In the foreseeable they won't own any part of the team either - they're effectively 'just' a sponsor.

Stroll has crowbarred in the option for AML to buy shares of the race team.... but they can hardly do that until the finances have turned around.

This is nuts. Almost solely buys still going through even after 20% up in a day.... I'd very rarely buy something that had risen 20% in a day, let alone on no big news!

I can just never see the point of selling when at a historic low. Unless you truly believe the company is about to go pop.

What you are asking is confused by the 4:1 rights issue..... it won't reach the same level no - but the equivalent level taking into account the new normal, hopefully.

Concensus from those on here with a positive mindset seems to be that SP could reach circa 140p this year if things turn around fast. IMHO the long term ceiling may be circa 280p if things go well.... but in reality, who knows.

Although scant detail on the proposed equity raise....

He bought off the Stroll consortium though didn't he?

Having worked for a huge German company back when I had a 'normal job'.... in general they are steered by the bean counters. All the numbers have to line up perfectly.

I fully believe that Stroll is lining AML up to sell to Daimler. And indeed probably already has the milestones (as they love to use) mapped out to do that. But these bean counters won't approve buying a dying duck - the company will have to prove it has turned around first. IMHO.
