London isn't 4% down... it actually opened 4% higher than yesterday then tracked back to the same price.

Before some of you sausages knee jerk panic sell at market open because of 500 job loses in the restructing..... check Frankfurt A5S this morning. Quoting 4% up. Not conclusive but an indication.

Sport sponsorship is just like a share thinking about it.... when SP has peaked and just bumbling along at an all time high, what do we do, if we don't think we're going to gain anything additional? Get out before we lose money and find something else to invest in ;o)

Mercedes may sell the F1 team.... because it's run it's planned course. Sponsorship and especially in F1 works like that - in, big win, out. The additional benefit from hanging on diminishes rapidly - they will be remembered for this dominance through our life time - job done.

Mercedes will still supply engines to F1 teams as that's profitable in it's own right.

Currently.... Racing Point is to be branded Aston in 21. This depends what happens... Stroll and Wolff could buy Mercedes F1 and brand that as Aston instead - and sell Racing Point. Thats what I'm hearing rumours of....

And from a shareholders perspective - YES we do want Vettel ina Mercedes powered Aston branded car - and alongside Hamilton? Incredible hype!

Stroll seems to be a fan of adding these kind of options in.... obviously a long term positioning - which might be easier to get approved now,rather than in the future when the liklihood of it happening means more scrutiny on the policy. Is how I see it.

He got the approval for a £200m investment into the F1 team already too - as if that would ever happen when finances are like they are right now. But the option is there.
