For sure I day/short term trade on some... SIG and BP are flying today, but the key is balance hey!

There was some discussion on this last week here somewhere... that the buy out price would likely be over £2 I think was mentioned?

Brands like Aston Martin don't die Pokerchips.... if worst comes to the worst, they get bought. WAY too much value in the name alone.

Anyone selling these shares at a loss now needs their head examining... unless you really really need the funds elsewhere. I'd rather leave it just sat there and wait for it to come around, however long it takes.

Personally I've just done what I do every year recently.... take 6 months worth of divs out of my company this early in the tax year, and park it in several medium term high potential stocks to balance out the income tax on it next year.

First up... 'shorter' doesn't mean short term ;o)

As an aside... from my usual business (selling high value automotive artwork) I haven't seen much negativity in the current economic/virus uncertainty.... from a very similar market to AML car buyers.

Some sales have dropped out for sure.... but we've seen a huge increase of new business, logically because usually very busy people maybe have head space right now, to be able to think of something else outside of their business.

Pretty sure that's the same thing.... I've certainly never pre-ordered a car without paying a deposit?

So if the company does go private.... what would the buy out price be? Surely way above where the SP is now!?

Is it just me or do these large out of hours buys have relatively little effect on SP?

Certainly don't forget Aston Martin! Crazy undervalued right now IMO, about to open manufacturing sites, 2000 of their new model DBX ordered and about to hit the showrooms, some of the biggest players in F1 heavily invested at waaaaay above current SP, and will be a badged F1 team in 2021. Huge potential even short term!

As an F1 fan also worth looking at FWONA... I'm already 12% up in recent weeks even without much really changing - they'll rocket when the season finally kicks off, seems like mid summer behind closed doors is likely.

BP, AML, FWONA make up the bulk of my portfolio right now.

Assuming that no-one would be selling 2m shares at a loss.... that can only be selling the big buy from yesterday? Still less than 2p profit.... £40k total?

Not the right place to be looking for a quick buck... medium-long term there is so much good going on, it can only go one way IMO. TW with his industry info and contact MUST be on to something!

Much of the investment to bring the DBX to market is already done - and showing in last years debt. Onwards and upwards as soon as they hit the road in a few weeks! I believe they sold 2000 of them already - which would closely match what Lamborghini achieve with pre-orders for the Urus. Promising!

Ya can't keep a good stock down! Too much potential in this, from a bargain price.

Look what happened for Lamborghini when they brought out the Urus. Exact same market, similar sized operations, and similar passionate loyal customer base. Personally I don't like the DBX, I went for the Urus instead lol.... but I'm still confident that it will be a huge success for AML.

Since they last made a decent profit, everything has been focused on developing the DBX, at huge cost. The benefit of which is shortly to be realised...
