If house prices fall why is it bad for those who have bought a house ?

My best performing shares are in companies where there the discussion boards are quiet. Compare this to the likes of MTRO, SXX, UKOG etc.

I agree that predicting £2 was a very poor prediction and along with the £3 Metro prediction INVESTINVALUE lacks credibility.

I have no problem with the rich paying higher taxes. At the moment the rich get richer and the poor get poorer. If higher taxes for the rich can help reverse this then I have no issue with it.

I think the main reason for the share price crash 3 years ago was that it had £200m tied up in an insolvent bank owned by it's biggest shareholder.
Always an added risk when dealing with a country like the Ukraine.

This fell to £1.50 in 2014 and a year later it was 14p. This share is fantastic if you catch it at the right time and a disaster if you don't. I've made a lot of money on it previously but down substantially this time.

I don't think it's guaranteed every 3-6 months. It fell below 75p in August 1991 and didn't get back to 95p until June 1997, nearly 6 years later, a long wait ! Same thing between 1998 and 2003. It then didn't fall below 75p for 12 years ! Unfortunately, investing in shares isn't that easy.

Up 15% in 1 month , 22% in 2 months and 37% in 3 months. This is usually a good sign but like most share investments there is no guarantee.

This looks a good investment based on momentum.

Hope that there is a GE and the Brexit parties get a majority so they can take us out of the EU as we voted for 3 years ago. Every month is another billion pounds down the drain. I've always voted labour but not this time.

Tom, on the 19th you said you weren't going to reply to any of my future posts. I made some money in 2012 on TCG and lost some money this year, this is hardly flaunting my wealth. I think you need to calm down a bit.

I bought TCG back in September 17 at £1.20, it went as high as £1.50 but I eventually bailed out at 60p a year later. Depending on your viewpoint I have either lost £25k or saved myself a further £25k loss. It always amuses me when people say that they never sell a share that has lost money.

I did make lots of money on TCG back in 2012 so can't complain overall. It all went downhill when Harriet Green left and they appointed Peter Fankhauser.

You state "Just seen my new 2020 M4, all down to GGP". This indicates that your investment in GGP enables you to buy a new car.

You also state "I can afford to buy quite a few new cars without worrying". This looks like flaunting your wealth to me.

Tom, glad you can afford a few new cars but to indicate it's all down to your investing skills is a tad misleading. Just afraid that others might think following you is the road to riches.
Also, flaunting your wealth is not going to make you many friends.

Tom, not quite sure how you can afford a new BMW, you stated you were £24k down on your investments.
Good luck with GGP but like most AIM I regard it as a gamble rather than an investment. As WW states "all speculative fluff with no substance".

I don't really have an opinion one way or the other. I tend to follow the market and I just wondered why the market in general is pessimistic.
