The market seems to have got its knic kers in a twist over pricing this stock after declining the undervalued bids of 170p and more.

Plenty signs coming out though to provide clues its getting this wrong.

Nasdaq up and has recovered 12.4% since 16th June. (Thats the date we declined the Offers for the company)

We'll get the update on the 15th September but you have to say all the signs are pointing to the market getting the valuation completely wrong here and it having to majorly correct back up.

That's Boots and Loreal reporting large upticks in the Beauty business.

Looks like another interesting day in store tomorrow for the Dow and Nasdaq have both posted good gains again tonight after the London close.

Here are some interesting facts for you.

From the 17th June until todays date the Dow Jones has risen from 29897 to 32526. +8.8% approx

From the 16th June until todays date Nasdaq has risen from 10818 to 12162. +12.4% approx

15th June the THG share price closes at 104.85 having retraced from from a high of 160p during the Bids. One of those bids being known at 170p. 16th June, Bids rejected RNS as undervaluing the company released. Closes that day at 74.4p. Now at circa 67p 6 weeks later. 56% rise gets it back to 104.85p it was the day prior to announcement and a 139% rise gets it back to 160p.

I totally get what someone was saying earlier pointing out that when the Nasdaq falls it somehow gets linked to the THG share price, But conversely when Nasdaq rises somehow it doesn’t. You can’t argue with a 12.4% rise over the period against the falls here.

Matthew Harding CEO, purchasing £821,000 worth of shares at 70,2p
3 Broker Notes issued since 16th June and all at higher prices.
Citigroup Broker note – 220p target price and market cap at the time barely reflecting the value of the Beauty business alone.
Barclays 100p target Price (arguably rogue)
Jeffries 120p target (highly detailed note posted earlier and taking something off due to not foreseeing any other quick bids) Note this was published before all divisions have been split into separate legal entities and the Softbank agreement brought to an end.

Asos by comparison about £142K’s worth of Director purchases and a 20% rise. Higher than Nasdaq and the Dow.

That said it is not all doom and gloom for there are periodic upward blips in the sp.

20th June to 27th June the sp rises from 73.2p to 85.2p and there are 3 other 5 or 6p upward rises in the share price in the rest of the intervening time period. These are taken off closing sp’s and not reflecting higher probable intra day gains and more frequent intra day moves in the share prices.

Anacott its a totally corrupt market on here and with blatant criminal manipulation going on. 170p bid. *6.27p Director purchase, followed by another £821K Director purchase.

Happy however to go with those Directors purchases and take advantage of whatever prices they wish to present us.

Almost smells of desperation to feed shares through to close somebodies position off.

Take out the big trade and nobody is selling.

In fact great opportunity to top up at a 5% discount to Matt Mouldings recent £821k purchase.

The Chairman and the CEO buying over 1 Million shares each with 6 weeks to go to next numbers are the biggest clues you need. Fall back on Citigroups Buy note or the recent Jeffries one of you need any more convincing.

kbyk it doesn't for since the broker note THG has been split into 3 seperate legal entities. Nothing stopping bids for the full company or any of the 3 seperate divisions.

Shows the whey prices have come down which is good for margin and its pretty detailed.

Not hard to understand why the CEO parted with £821,000 of his own cash for shares in the company.

It's MM's prerogative what he does with his wealth. Can gift anything you like to anyone. Provided held for 7 years then there are no tax implications. So it looks like he has created some more LTH's.

Now starting to get cross coverage which is great news.

Shouldn't take too long for them to put 2 and 2 together that not only Moulding bought £821,000 in shares but also that Charles Allen bought £1 Million worth of shares.

Two very large statement buys from Senior Executives with insight into the companies present performance, and knowledge of the 3 recent bids.

There's a very good reason for that SP28.

When people were locked down and facing restrictions including going out, staying at home and the wearing of face masks that essentially cover more than half your face there wasn't much call for putting on make-up, lipstick, eye liner, mascara, toners, cleansing products, exfoliators, perfumes etc that go with it.

Now there is, and when people find the right products that works for them then they stick with it. Simple repeat custom follows.

Its been like a game of spoof on here with computer algorythms set to sell this down to an amazing 104 points less than what was a lowest bid of 170p. Astonishing really.

But the two most senior executives on the THG Board and who will have their eyes on the figures have called their bluff with two massive share purchases of over 1 Million shares each.

Lets see whose right, the ones with the syes on the numbers or the ones selling blind.

There's an awful lot of shares that need to be bought back here. Don't give yours away cheaply.

In an ideal world everybody just sits tight now and it should get back to undervalued bid prices of 170p

Two of the biggest clues going have recently been given with two Director purchases of over 1 million shares each.

15th September whoever has been manipulating and betting against this stock might wake up to either a very sore head or be out of business.

We can all wait for knowing that the 2 Highest ranking Execs on the Board of Directors at THG have just splashed out £1 Million and £821,000 on buying shares in the company.

With access to company stats by the day, the week, the month they must be knowing something that others don't.

I think Goldenyears what you should really be concentrating on if you are a holder is asking what other share do you know where two of the Board of Directors have had the confidence to buy £1,821,000 worth of shares with their own money.

Should be a good blue day on the markets tomorrow and hopefully this now draws a line in the sand and goes the way Asos did after their Director purchases and we might be in for some increased positions or new faces and a first stepping stone rise back above Lord Allens £1M purchase at 86.27p.

Darktrace have had lock ins. So has Moonpig and I could go on and on.

Isn't it great that you have a CEO who can dip into his wallet and buy £821,000 worth of shares and instantly give them away to friends and family and his 22% holding still remains intact.

This plus Charles Allens £1M amount to about £1.7M more than the purchases that changed the sentiment at Asos.

I mean what could they possibly know that's convinced them to go in so large. I'd have been happy with £100K purchases but these are statement purchases.

Indeed the 15th September.

On the 16th June ASOS announced a trading update which the market didn’t think was very good and the share price fell to 783p at the close on the day. You then over the course of the next days get Director buying. Not huge amounts

16th June Ian Dyson, Chair buys 6000 shares. £15205

16th June Jorgan Lindeman NED buys 57,392 shares. £62052

16th June Patrick Kennedy NED buys 30,000 shares. £53,000

20th June Jose Calamonte CEO buys 1,500 shares. £13170

Total of £143,427 bought in a vote of confidence in Asos and thereafter the share price moves from 783p to 1036p with a couple of other 1% increased holdings RNS’s in between. No other real significant news in between. Back of cigarette packet calculation is that £143K worth of Director share purchases causes a 20% to 25% rise in the share price.

Now turning to THG where the two recent Director purchases eclipses anything bought at Asos by about £1.7 Million.

I know which of the two sets of Directors votes of confidence I prefer, The THG one, and its been backed up by a recently declined £1.70 takeover bid that undervalued the company.

Hopefully our two very large Director purchases prompt some additional Institutional interest also and roll on the 15th August knowing that our Directors have forked out £1.81 Million between them. Todays closing volume is certainly up.
