Just remember that POLY at the moment is a unique situation as for once it lets the little men and women and PI's load up in front of the big Institutions. Some can't presently touch and some brokers are not allowing purchases.

But that should change with the split and sale of the Russian assets. Just read yesterdays RNS for the aim is to get it back on the main indices and with Institutions and trackers back on board.

Its an easy hold and wait for true value to re-emerge.

I am not surprised that its NT as there is about £9.00 worth of value in the present shares. £6.00 for Khazak assets and even at a considerable discount probably about £3.00 for the Russian side. These are well run businesses.

We will get a nice reminder of just how much both the Khazakstan and Russian assets are worth.

Nice little For sale sign raised yesterday on the Russian assets. Marketing literature in the form of numbers out tomorrow.

Nice acquisition for a Far Eastern player to put them on the big stage production wise.

Easy doubler, probably trebler from here imo, but its the dividend that will be the icing on the cake.

Back into the right indices and then the boost of the tracker funds.

Looks like a bot of rocket fuelled propulsion over there today once Uk markets have closed. Dow Up 700 points and more. Nasdaq up 353 points. Both very big gains that will shape UK market direction tomorrow.

Thursday we get the update which will let everyone see what is on offer with the Russian producing assets. Q2 production numbers, profitability, resource. Then add circa £6.00 for Khazakstan.

500p - 700p is just for the Khazakstan assets CR888.

Plus whatever they can gain fro the Russian assets. On a good day they should be about the same.

Just see where the combined operations were prior to the special operation.

If the shorts don't close imminently or load up their margin to the hilt then there could be a lot get instantly closed out if the splits are announced.

They've got tonight and tomorrow to stew on it. Khazak assets have to be worth £6.00

I'll be surprised if we don't hit over 300p by the close of business tomorrow for if the splits are confirmed then it should imo be an easy minimum of a doubler

After hanging on in there patiently it looks like we won't have too much longer to wait.

POLY have been working on doing the splits with a July timeframe. An update on that or a timetable will refocus the minds on just how undervalued this share price still is. Was over £12 prior to the conflict.

The conference call accompanying the Q2 production update is an extremely good idea for it will let all ask the questions they would like answers to (if details not already provided). Will be specifically watching for an update on splitting the Kahazak and Russian assets and if this will enable a dividend to be paid through the Khazak side of the business. If so then what a significantly undervalued share price and a tremendous yield sitting there for anyones retirement plans.

Thankfully the Board of Directors at Polymetal are switched on and the one thing always to bear in mind is that they are intent on keeping performance going and also in resurrecting shareholder value.

Splitting the assets has been on the agenda and being worked up since March and it is the easiest way to do just that. I'm expecting to see a timetable and if so a substantial rise. Khazakstani assets just by themselves must be valued around £6.00. The Russian asset value on top.

It just highlights how oversold some shares can get.

I seem to recall that during one of the last conference calls July was firmly mentioned as the month for details on the way ahead with Poly's assets being split. Khazakstani assets must be worth around £6.00 on their own. Been holding patiently and hopefully a green light coming to get back there.

hmch I thought the same. Lacking in any real detail and unflattering.

Just intrigued how you can justify 4.81% down when FTSE 100 and 250 are only down 0.74 and 0.76% and the Nasdaq is looking like it is going to close positive.

I might go for a top up tomorrow as it jokingly nearly 100p under the 170p bid.

Can you honestly see electricity companies not benefiting from the lifting of price caps and the percentage increasea that are coming in electricity, gas and dual fuel bills.

The drop today appears to have been an attempt to prop up pitiful volume and even with a 5.75% fall it didn't even get to 3 million total shares traded today. Several with funds available would have used the chance to top up. The Executive Chairman Lord Allen having recently purchased 1,150,000 ordinary shares here at 86.2731p and at almost half a recent takeover bid is presenting both opportunity and value.

Some shares have maybe fallen too far.

I looked in this afternoon with two screens actively running whilst watching the US markets and our share price and we seemed to be moving in tandom with their oscillations up and down. It could have been that the US markets were moving the UK indices and that was causing the oscillations in our share price. On just checking the US close its the first time this week that it has held a sustained gain. Might benefit us all next week.
