Don't think Zaza has any cards up his sleeve. We have always hoped for such but none have ever appeared.
He has proved that he can spin a yarn big time. This is what, I believe, he is doing now and more successfully than ever before.
The good news is that if he pulls it off, and it would be an incredible achievement, then we benefit as his interest in this is shares in FRR, the same as us.

Ziggy: thank you for highlighting that point as I had been wondering the point of Zaza putting the transfer as the first agenda item for the proposed committee meeting with GOGC, but now I can see that it makes sense.

Arsenal: just because the detailed arbitration result hasn't been reported in Georgia is not a sensible reason to ignore it!
Remember that it cannot be legally published without consent from both parties. It is one thing having it appear anonymously on a foreign chat room and very much another putting your name to it in public in Georgia.

Zen: I confess that I had hoped that B-2-0 was a guardian angel privvy to inside information but that was rather blown to shreds when a respected poster (it may have even been Devex), pointed out that B-2-0 had been making similar claims on Afren. So it would seem foolish to regard his posts as any more informed than the rest of us alas.

Zen: there's no way that there will ever be a joint statement as GOGC (and anyone who has read the arbitration judgement) have one view and Zaza has a different one. Zaza knows there can never be a joint statement, which is why he continues to bang on about it.
The GOGC will take the 1% in July unless they're "persuaded" not to in the meantime. That remains a possibility. The fact the rhetoric seems to have reduced recently from both sides maybe means they're talking perhaps, bwtfdik.

It would seem you have only listened to what you wanted to hear, so really there was no point in asking.

Must admit I will be happier when this October election has been called as I am worried that the GG may delay it owing to the corona virus. Often people with power are reluctant to give it up. Having said that we may well be history come 27 July and so the timing of the election could be irrelevant...

I'm not sure the letter will achieve anything concrete but at the very least it should remind Zaza that we do exist and we care (assuming the lawyer tells him about it).
If the letters are genuine, and I am not convinced, it is intriguing as to who JJ is. He/she has to either work for Frontera, (there can't be many suspects there!!!) or the lawyers. Again not many at the firm will be privy to the letters.

The arbitration panel said the asset transfer was not permitted. That leaves a strange legal conundrum I guess as that means the liquidators have the asset presumably, well up until 27 July?

Aurora1: Just a couple of corrections to your post:
1. There were 154 pages of details in the Arbitration document - FACT
2. IG Index did pay out on short positions ages ago - FACT. If we relist, which seems very remote now, IG would not get their monies back so the shorters with IG are happy whatever. Any folks with short positions not through IG but 'proper' ones are probably now sleeping more soundly than they have since they took the position.

Tenners: the document refers to these areas and considers them in some detail and lists them as outside the '99%' area that should have been returned.
However it also rules that a material breach of the PSC has occurred and moreover states what the implications of the material breach are, which means the GOGC can invoke cancellation of the PSC and so secure return of the remaining areas too, which they have done.
Our only hope is that either Zaza starts a legal challenge (he may have done without us knowing) but on the face of it there don't appear to be any grounds that would be successful but it could be a delaying tactic or he tries to get the GG to back down in the face of political pressure from the US, which he is clearly striving to do.

As an aside on the legal side, it seems that, contrary to what he said to us in London, Zaza only seems to start a legal action he is certain of losing and, as such, he will probably start one. All his legal actions seem to be purely delaying tactics...

Ziggy/Bezzy/bugsy: there are no missing lines in the document, at least none relating to the examples two of you posted. As StarRage correctly observed the arbitration panel are just selecting relevant sections of the PSC.
