So just when you thought we were finally dead B-2-0 pops up with yet another of his/her bullish statements based on ... hmmm... nothing!

He/she has consistently been uber positive over all the years that we have failed to get anywhere. Here was his/her post from February 2021 before he/she went quiet for 3 years. As usual it proved to be a load of imaginary tosh, but it does start with a sentence which is probably the only reliable piece of information he/she has ever posted on here:

"For the record I do not possess any insider information. Even if I did I could not divulge that information before it is made public. However it is my opinion there are many signs of strategic US-Georgia alliance making multiple major party investment probable. The recent rhetoric from both sides is further evidence of this. We are in the transitioning phase ie. the deal is done and it is of regional significance hence the silence. I am very confident that we will benefit from this alliance along with many Georgians and other European partners. This has been a long journey but I believe we are part of something historic. I believe the news flow will as stated, progressive over the coming months due to the significance of this alliance. And as for the shooters, time to get your big boy pants on..."

Just catching up on the latest on here and I am saddened to see that my action in asking Deloitte to verify the statement that had already been shared on here had the unintended consequences of shutting down the line of communication to Looed. I now regret my action and apologise to everyone.

It didn't impact where we are now, which is just the worst possible place. My feelings towards SN can't be articulated on here as they'd be deemed slanderous, albeit they're completely based on the fact that he has deliberately misled us all from the get go.

A bit unfair given NJames gave a prompt succinct answer to your question.

But great you're not going to waste any more of anyone's time on this board in the future.

I can't see how it is possible for FRR to win the tender. Remember the company is controlled by the liquidators, Deloitte, who already stated that SN had not come forward with the funds to enable them to do anything despite promising. (A broken promise from SN; whatever next...?). So unless they were given the funds, which would need to be a reasonable amount, to put together a tender bid then it didn't happen.

Remember Deloitte's last update. If money had been put up and they had bid, they would have told us.

Assuming we are now completely no more, I just wish they'd do the necessary and finally end this misery.

Hi Aurora. So long as you haven't already made a negligible value claim (which with what's happened here you could have) then the loss will crystallise when the company is liquidated.

Once it has been liquidated anyone who owns shares will have a crystallised loss for CGT purposes.

I have a record of my brought forward CGT losses on my annual self assessment tax return.

It's just so frustrating when you check the site to see three messages and then drill down and they're from our two resident loons!

Having said that it seems we could all be veritably classified as loons given we invested in this fraud. SN has, on the rare occasions he has spoken, talked an er good er game. But at the end of the day his mismanagement of such a golden opportunity has been off the scale. He has lied lied and lied. Broken promises all the way. And it seems that finally the Georgian Government, despite no doubt US government pressure to the contrary, have realised that he has strung them along, just like he did us.

I am getting on in years, but given my humongous losses on here that are about to finally crystallise, Houston is now on my bucket list....

In their update that they posted on the 19th, that Looed kindly highlighted on here, Deloittes stated the following:

"As a result, the Liquidators consider that the affairs of the Company have been completely wound up and the Liquidators will now proceed with the necessary steps to conclude the liquidation and dissolve the Company.

The Liquidators will submit an application to the Grand Court of the Cayman Islands seeking an order for the Company's dissolution. Once the order for dissolution is obtained, it will be uploaded to this website."

Now following Looed's enigmatic but highly encouraging update, one would hope that the above is not now going to happen. In which case, Deloittes should be posting an update to reflect that they won't be submitting an application to the Grand Court ...

Well just when it looked like it was finally over, we have this post from Looed.

I'm interpreting Looed's and then Jim Slade's post as that they have had a communication from the Company that says that all is not lost.

So very much appreciate you both giving us all hope again.

But it's the hope that kills! Fingers crossed we hear something soon officially to confirm a positive development.

Aurora - the final liquidation will cristalise the loss so it will be offsetable against current and future gains under current HMRC CGT rules.

I have had a brief communication from the Liquidators that says:

"There have been no updates following the Liquidators’ first report to creditors of the Company. As the liquidation remains unfunded, any further material updates and publicly available information for shareholders and investors of the Company will be made available at the link below.

Frontera Resources Corporation - in Official Liquidation | Deloitte Cayman Islands"

So SN hasn't produced the funding he promised to the Liquidators and neither has any of the other creditors.

The link hasn't copied but it is just to the appropriate section on the Deloitte website that just has the original notice of the liquidation from 16 January.

Jv123: Looed has the patience of a Saint taking the time and effort to answer pretty much the same questions over and over again whilst we are sitting here in limbo, so please don't knock him. He and Deloittes are the most likely source of any news so let's all keep him onside.

My immediate thought was the same as Cazbraz's, as unless this was written in the last month it gives us nothing we don't already know.

The potential funding source was supposed to be accessible by the end of April. If it has materialised then hopefully discussions are on-going to agree a new licence for us. The current silence is deafening and we have no idea whether that means the liquidation is just progressing or if it's a positive. The timing of the political turmoil couldn't have been worse sadly.
