The first time it happened I wrote to them. But since then have put it on the tax return and included the annual stockbroker CGT report as evidence.

You have to register the loss with HMRC and then it can be carried forward indefinitely to offset against future gains. When I have informed HMRC about previous losses they have asked to see evidence and I sent them my stockbroker annual CGT report. They then agreed my losses. I would imagine any official third party confirmation of the loss would be acceptable.

Looed has been patience personified with addressing your pointless ramblings.

Most of us on here are immensely grateful for the way he has tirelessly shared anything he finds with us and also explains what it means.

Phil: it may be difficult for you to understand, but when we put money into the translation fund we were trying to find out what was actually going on with our investment. (Sadly) We now know exactly what is going on with our investment, which is it is about to disappear. We have professional liquidators who have set out in their expert report exactly where we are.

Throughout the whole process Looed has provided us with more information finds and context for those finds than anyone else, by a street mile.

My understanding, which may be incorrect, is that the capital loss will be recognised in HMRC's eyes once it is crystallised. This should happen this week when the liquidation is endorsed by the Court.

Currently my FRR investment is shown at nil value by my broker. My only previous experience is with my only other AIM "investment" which also went tits up, which was Churchill Mining which I was able to claim as a capital loss after my broker reflected them going bust.

So, Phil, I ask again: what do you suggest we do about it: we gather the evidence, and then ...?

I don't think anyone who, like me, is about to have their massive financial losses confirmed, is content, especially given the circumstances and what seems to be about to happen with Steve (I've never paid a bill in my life) Nicandros' new venture.

But what do you suggest we do about it Phil_2018???

Lifeishard: there's no reason to be positive, as any intelligent person knows. We are being liquidated and when that happens the only positive will be that you will finally shut up.

Monti: it would be great if you were correct in your suspicion of some positivity in this development but, given SN seems to screw everyone over he deals with, make promises he never intends to keep and never pays any debts, the prospect of him deciding to give us all shares in any new operation seems unlikely in the extreme.

I believe the event that triggered my shares bring removed from the ISA was the delisting. So presumably the relevant price is therefore the closing price the day before they were suspended...
